Fairmount Santrol Grade Silica Pool Filter Sand, 50 lb

This sand was an absolute winner for my Intex filter this summer. It proved to be the perfect product, keeping my pump running smoothly and my pool water absolutely spotless for the entire season. I was seriously impressed with how well it performed, and it made keeping the pool clean a totally effortless job. For anyone with an Intex filter, this is the sand you want—it just works.

Great for beautiful white aquarium substrate at a fraction of the cost of anything labeled for aquariums from the pet stores. It’s exceptionally clean as well. Only rinsed once and was ready to be added to the tank. No waiting for it to settle either. One of my tanks constantly gets algae due to the lights being on more and the sunlight it gets, so the top layer of sand turns reddish. I suction the top layer out into a bucket and it rinses clean again. The other tanks I have are always that beautiful white beach looking sand. Out of all the other substrates I’ve had, this is the best!

I got this to use for my red eared slider habitat and it's exactly what I wanted. It's clean, it's the right size, and my turtle loves to dig in it. I put aqua sand under it in one area for plants and the ones my turtle liked are thriving. I highly recommend it!

I didn't need the Item, but I didn't know until I received it . I hope I can return it as easily as I received it

The sand itself works very well... nice, consistent grain and exactly what I needed for my pool filter. It’s clean, filters effectively, and I noticed an improvement in water clarity right away. The only downside was the packaging. The bags arrived with some small tears, which made it a bit messy to handle. Aside from that, no complaints. Solid product and a great price for the quantity.

so far its worked great for our sand pump.

so this sand was delivered with a bag the was cut on the top like you were hoing to open it.but not in the box when i picked it uo half of it went all over me don't no what moron packed it.

They made a label and never sent it out, no correspondence. Otherwise a great product but now it seems I will buy something else somewhere else.

arrived in box with full bottom of sand bag split open. went everywhere when attempting to lift out of box

Orders this twice f rom Walmart. Never received an update nor the sand nd does not show up in my history. Both times I went to where fed ex said it was out for delivery and saw it was delayed. After much searching both times it said the package was broke and it was delayed but it's been a month on one and 2 months on the other. I gave up.
