I received an SSD drive and could not read the drive with my cable. I have ordered a different brand SSD drive before from HP and attached the drive without doing anything and my computer read the SSD so I thought something was wrong with the SSD drive I received from Fanxiang and relayed that to Fanxiang. Fanxiang mailed me another drive. It turns out Fanxiang was correct, I needed to initialize and partition the drive, as Fanxiang had told me when they emailed me directions. I finally followed the directions and it worked:-) I appreciate Fanxiang being patient and kind to me in dealing with my ignorance. The Fanxiang S101 256GB Storage SSD Hard Drives 2.5 inches SATA III Internal Solid State Hard drive required me to initialize and partition the drive maybe due to my older version of Windows. I do not know but was thankful when my computer could read the drives. I was also very grateful to Fanxiang that everything worked out for both of us! Thank you Fanxiang!

this SSD works like a charm, very fast and fit my laptop perfectly. I was able to install new OS on it and only take 10 seconds to boot up. definitely recommend to friends!

I had never replaced a HDD or a SSD before and this fit perfectly. I've never heard of this brand so im concerned about the quality but it passed all the checks before it was installed.

Installed into my tower, used disk management to detect, set format to MBR since it is less than 1TB. installed windows 11 and good to go... Great deal so far. We will see if the drive lasts. but so far fantastic deal. Thanks!

I have a Windows 10 Home 64 bit PC. The HDD was starting to 'sing' letting me know that the bearings were on their way out. I ordered a 1TB SSD to replace it. As it was only 2.5", I had to get an adapter tray also. I cloned the old drive and placed the new SSD into the PC. It booted much faster than with the standard SATA HDD. Loading apps, downloading apps/programs, and browsing was much faster also. I highly recommend this SSD as a drive replacement.

trust me I'm a computer guy.....this us a significant increase in speed if you're upgrading from an old hdd. noticiby much faster everything now yay!

I love this SSD and it's worth the price. I used it to replace the HDD of my old Windows 7 PC, and installed the new Windows 10. It turns out that the computer has been greatly improved. All in all, highly recommended.

This SSD is awesome my laptop was super slow and lagged a lot. Installed this SSD, now my laptop is super fast click and it takes me there almost instantly. Great price great product. A

give 4 stars instead of 5 because return date up to jun19. the other product can return up to aug29. i need time to evaluate the ssd reliability and performance, 1 month is not enough to do full test on it, at least 2-3 months to test it right and it just a basic test. come on guys please understand nowadays electronics goods is no good because everything cut cost as well as cut corners. you think it cheap it because cheap labor and poor workmanship. especially electronic good produced in china, china cheap product due to OEM pressure them to produce cheap. if the same product made it US, cost will be sky high and yet not 100 percent good as well. Conclusion is consumer need more return time to verify the product lifespan, at least 2 years assured. not good for a month and breakdown next month although it cheap yet it consumer money. 💰
