It's the perfect little saw to cut down some small tree branches and clean up a tree line. It even took down some smaller trees which impressed me. Glad I gave it a try. Nice and light weight and the handle makes it even easier to hold onto.
I cut a lot of softwood tree branches that were getting near an electric wire. It was easy to handle cutting way up high on the ladder. This tool is not for thick branches. Since I did not want to climb up ladder with my 20 lb Saws all tool, this little 3-4 lb mini chainsaw made the job do able for me, a 72-year old woman.
Was hesitant to buy, but I'm so glad I did! It was way better than I expected. Super lightweight and cut the large braches like a charm. Highly recommend!! 👍 A
I liked the flash deal price on the mini chainsaw with extra chain carrying case; dual batteries to work with. I recommend reading the reviews before buying. Excellent price at 65 % off price.on flash deal. Quickly delivered….!!!!
For the size and price the chain saw did a great job of cutting down a medium size tree and cutting it into 2 foot pieces. It cut right through through the branches easily. Great purchase.
I had a hard time using this item on small branches. first time using a chainsaw. The husband showed me the proper way to use a chainsaw. It makes pruning my trees easier.
as a older person who loves to work in my yard this was perfect not to heavy but still plenty of power I used it to cut down over grown bushes and trim my dogwood low hanging branches and it worked great
It's plenty capable for the small jobs I had in mind when buying. I do not own, nor have I operated, another chainsaw before this, but I would've thought the blade/chain rotation would go in the opposite direction. Meaning, when you're running it and you go to cut the wood from the top of the branch, the bottom of the chainsaw should be moving AWAY from you. This one does not. It rotates toward you, which is disconcerting to say the least. All the debris from the wood is being thrown toward you. You'll want to make sure your legs aren't directly behind it. I mean, I'm not sure it's a big deal and it cuts it just fine, but I'm definitely knocking a star off for that. Also, it's a bit finicky to readjust the tightness of the chain rather frequently (usually every 20 or so cuts). I've done two cutting sessions over the last coupe weeks where I used it on around 50 cuts, give or take, some up to 2.5 inches thick. I still haven't gotten through the first battery, so I'm very happy with that aspect. Having to put oil on the chain every now and then is a bit of a pain, but it's not a problem once you understand how to do it. That leads me to my final major complaint. The instructions/guidelines are ... complete gibberish. It was clearly written in mandarin and then auto-translated or something. Half of the sentences literally do not make any sense in english. Even the punctuation is a disaster. It's honestly comical how terrible it is. The ONLY way I knew how to do anything was to go to youtube and see other people talking about similar chinese mini-chainsaws. All that said, I think it was worth my money, but I paid 1/4 of the list price because of a sale coupon. I definitely would not pay more than $40 for this. There's so many chinese no-name versions of this, you should be able to find one of them for under that if this is currently at a higher price. My advice, though, is to wait until you find this, or a similar one, for between $15-25. That's in the range I paid, and I'm satisfied with that.
I bought this to trim smaller branches, especially when climbing or on ladder. It actually cuts better than I expected. I can't comment on battery life yet,but otherwise I am well pleased with the saw. I gave it four stars only because it does not have either an auto or manual chain oiler. Using the rediculious little bottle of oil while up in a tree is a pain.
The saw was never sent to my house, for some reason it was cancel even after I had paid for the item. Without a reason, have not heard from walmart or seller about this product. At this time I will no longer order from a third party company through Wa;mart.
