It's only been a few days but I am quite happy with using these in my porch light fixtures. Set up through the app was quick and simple. There are options to group bulbs together, schedule on and off times, options for color changing, and you can connect them to home assistants to control with your voice.
Looks great in inside my glass pendant lights. The color spectrum is not as wide as the other bulbs (I think LED type) of the same brand.
Very pretty, large size, best thing is that can change colors which is something that other bulbs cannot compete with
Really love the beauty and variety of colors that are achievable with this bulb. Some of the colors I configured made filament look multicolored!
Nice light. I have other FEIT lights so seamless connectivity. Only disappointing feature is color changing does not include white color temperature range. White is warm and unfortunately it doesn't match my other cooler front lights. Still better than other Amazon smart light so it's a keeper.
These are a nicely styled bulb. The spiral filament looks cool. It works with our Alexa setup, but had intermittent issues in the routines we've created. Also, we have 3 bulbs and each has a different temperature for the white color choice. One is a nice neutral white, one is a warm white and the third is in between those in color temperature. All were bought at same time, so the differences are surprising.
The app was great, the bulb was well made and the colors were pretty. It didn't work for me only because the white was too warm(amber) for the area I was lighting.
I love the product when I actually got my hands on it but when I ordered it online I got a product that had been swapped out for another by someone stealing it from Walmart. otherwise the product was great
Would not connect no matter what. Spent hours troubleshooting. Bought four of the Feit Electric ST2160/RGBW/FIL/AG Smart WiFi Filament Bulbs. Not a single one would connect. The app detects the bulbs and begins the pairing process, but every one either fails outright or gets stuck on “Being added” and eventually times out. I went through every troubleshooting step that exists for these bulbs. I have a TP-Link Archer AXE300 router, and here is everything I tried: ∙ Confirmed my phone was connected to the 2.4GHz band specifically, not 5GHz or 6GHz ∙ Disabled Smart Connect so the bands had separate SSIDs ∙ Changed the 2.4GHz channel width from 40 MHz to 20 MHz ∙ Changed the WiFi channel to a non-overlapping channel (1, 6, or 11) ∙ Disabled WPS on the router ∙ Dropped the wireless mode from 802.11b/g/n/ax to b/g/n only to remove WiFi 6 ∙ Power cycled the router multiple times ∙ Reset the bulbs into pairing mode over and over (off-on-off-on-off-on until blinking) ∙ Let the bulbs time out of pairing mode and re-entered pairing mode for a second attempt, as some users reported this double-reset method worked for them ∙ Tried pairing through the Smart Life app instead of the Feit app, including AP Mode where the bulb creates its own hotspot ∙ Temporarily changed my WiFi password to a short, simple one with only basic letters and numbers in case the password was causing issues ∙ No VPN running on my phone, Bluetooth was on, location services enabled for the app None of it worked. Four bulbs, two apps, every router setting adjusted, hours of my time wasted. These bulbs use cheap Tuya WiFi modules that clearly cannot handle pairing with a modern WiFi 6E router, even when you strip the settings all the way down to the most basic 2.4GHz configuration possible. If you have a newer router, do not buy these. Save yourself the frustration and spend the extra money on something that actually works. Returning all four.
I've had these bulbs for a couple of months now. Purchase them originally for Halloween the bulbs work well but their app is a bit of a pain. When the bulbs went off-line I had to reconnect them and if you create a schedule, you have to make sure that you click it for every day and sometimes even if you hit Save the schedule will not work and when you try to go on the app to give feedback, of course the submit button is grayed out.
