Works great with OBS. I was concerned I'd have some issues with Linux Mint getting it to recognize it, but it was identified without doing anything special and has been working great for the past few weeks. I'd recommend it for beginners and new streamers/contrent creators. Even for everyday users... I think the sound quality is much better than the built in to my motherboard sound chip.

This is my honest review of: The FIFINE SC8 Gaming Audio Mixer My opening thoughts when receiving the item: it is a great color. Much more aesthetically pleasing compared to the black one. it plastic feel isn't great, kind of feels cheap. it is packaged well but in a paper bag as what it shipped in. Not great. But the box itself has very high quality foam. Sadly the box itself doesn't have any information on what color you have and shows the black one. The good parts are: its looks, the sound is great overall. The voice changer works. the mixers are nice to have and function as well. the RGB is there and can be changed with their FIFINE Genie app along with the custom buttons. The negatives are: the plastic as stated. the shipping being a paper bag. The overall rating out of ten is: 8/10 (the plastic quality did hit it and the paper bag used in shipping though padded lightly could be changed) Overall thoughts: it is a great mixer. Zero issues with it besides the feel of the plastic for it works in the way it needs to. the App is good but not needed except for getting the custom buttons set. Still the buttons in general are clicky and nice.

However the box inside that it comes in has nice spongy foam, high quality but would have liked it in another box for shipping. The device itself feels quality. The extra wires are nice but doesn't come with an XLR cable for the price which would have been nice. The good parts are: It feels good. Quality. It even has RGB. Which to me isn't required. Figuring it out you don't even need the manual as to me it was that simple. Messing with the marked buttons each work. The dials feel nice. really overall good. The negatives are: As stated not coming with an XLR cable. Though not required as most XLR microphones should come with a cable. If not though then you will need to buy a cable. The other actually negative is it coming in a paper bag. It may not for all but it did for me. To me even with the nice main box the device comes in it could be a negative. As it could crush the main box if you want to keep it. The overall rating out of ten is: 8/10 (the real thing hitting it here is the lack of protective secondary box. The lack of XLR is not hitting the score here.) Overall thoughts: It is a great product. Works as expected. Even has an app you can use but you don't need to which i prefer not to. I don't need other apps running in the background. However for the custom buttons you will need to use the app to actually set them which makes sense in all honesty.

Easy to use and configure. It was a lot heavier than I had expected, screams quality! I use a macbook and was able to easily plug it into the side w/the USB-C and also appreciate the attached USB-A converter for other situations. This was easily picked up from my blackhole setup and configured right away. This helps a lot. I was hoping for something to bring everything together better for my stream setup and this is fire! I can mute my mic and change my chat/game sound quickly without a hassle of going in to my direct settings. I love this!!

Works great ! Easy to connect and use based on basic technical knowledge. Provides easy connectivity instructions to get you connected to your device of choice. Very good mixer quality. Love the features it holds as voice changer and auto tune built in, with many options for it along with the color changing pads of your liking. Great value for the money at this price and works as well as or better than others at higher prices.

This is a good entry point for experimenting with streaming and recording content. It’s worth noting that this device is only for large plug microphones. You would use a headset, like a typical streamer setup, to hear all your content, and the external mic would pick up your voice. There may be other methods, but this appears to be the main function. From researching it does work with PlayStation 5 and you can plug the controller into this with the standard 3.5mm aux and record your game audio and chat. There are some useful YT videos on this to get the most out of your setup. There’s an app, Fifine Genie, that seems pretty well made. I don’t have a lot of experience with this stuff, but I’m dipping my toes in. The app has various channels, and you can assign different apps to each channel, which can then be controlled with this device. It also supports real time voice changing. The effects are kind of goofy and don’t sound like a real person. It’s more like a baby, a monster, and so on, but it does spoof your voice. All three knobs have a mute button with visual red light cues, which is a great feature. If you’re using a large plug microphone, a more professional style mic, you’ll need something like this device to plug it into, basically an audio amplifier. This does come with a big front and back page of English instructions. This one does feel pretty light and plastic. Overall, I think this is a solid entry point for people who want to explore this tech and get some cool features without breaking the bank. Cliche I know, but true. This I’ve bought a few products from this company on this site now, and they always arrive quickly and without issues. Very satisfied with both the company and their product.

First impressions: well packaged like all FIFINE items. Unit feels solid and well constructed, with snappy buttons and quality rotary controls that actuate smoothly. Full assortment of input and output jacks on the rear interface panel, including an optical port, and of course, a combination XLR/ 1/4” plug jack. The XLR port provides selectable phantom power level on demand. In terms of performance, this unit is a breeze to operate. Controls are all well labeled and intuitive, and it’s a matter of minutes from setting the unit up to processing your first audio. It streamlines the process of audio production and quickly gets you an end result, rather than spending hours to get there. Sound quality is unsurpassed. Backlighting on all controls makes operating in even low light a breeze. This unit offers features available on units costing double what this product costs, so it is a very good buy at the current price point. I give this a very strong 5 star recommendation - my highest - for another FIFINE product that gives the consumer a whole lot of functionality for the dollar!

If I'm honest it's not really worth it because you can't try to use it for a dual gaming pc setup because when you plug your mic into it and try to actually use it, you get both your audio and your mic that will come through on your say obs or whatever your streaming service is. I'd say save up for something better and get that.

I purchased this after watching a YouTube review about the Fifine Tank 3 sounding amazing with the XLR cable and MC3 board. I can barely hear myself compared to the USB connection. I was able to use USB and OBS filters to get far better sound. It's possible I have no idea how to set it up but I have watched several videos and it doesn't work well for me at all.
