Love this stuff. Genuinely great-tasting extra virgin at a price that doesn't hurt — it's my everyday bottle for dressings, drizzling, and general cooking. One honest caveat: the smoke point runs a little low, so this isn't your searing oil. Keep the ripping-hot work for something else and this bottle will treat you right. Five stars for what it is.

has a lot of polyphenols which are very good for your health and I believe it's taste is just as good as any that I've used it's a cold press first press so I know that it's high quality olive oil and I always seem to get deals from manufacturer or coupons when I shop for this product so it's one of my favorite products to buy in the olive oil brand

Olive oil lovers.. not over the top pricey and is in a dark bottle to keep the health benefits there. A good choice. I will go to the larger size next time as cook and use often. Family of 5.. goes quick. Individual or couple use..a good quality size and brand. Enjoy! 😜😁

if you don't love olives dont buy it, you can taste the olives . its got lots of olive taste in it . i buy it because i love the taste of Mediterranean food with it. it brings out its atmosphere of the Mediterranean .. for me!

Filippo Berio has been in business since 1867......my Uncle was Iralian and recommended thos Extra Virgin Olive Oil for me to use and I :LOVE it. I put it in my water when Im boning pasta etc. and on my salads with balsamic vinegar etc. Its just delicious!!! And I use it when Im cooking food on my stove top and its NON-GMO too! 5 STARS

What a great olive oil! This is my first time trying Filippio Berio and I will be purchasing it again. I feel good knowing I'm get heart health benefits from olive oil and it tastes so good. Try frying your egg in a tsp of olive oil. It's so good! Thanks for a great product!

I didn't realize this came in a plastic bottle. Hard pass on the micro plastics, please. Is that olive oil I'm tasting, or is it Texan gold (oil)? So I just picture this olive oil in a plastic bottle, absorbing petrochemicals as it's being driven in a semi trailer at a holding temp of 94 degrees …. Eww. Glass for life people, and you can actually recycle it. I didn't even know Berio sold things in plastic. I guess one of the issues when you buy things online site, unseen.

The Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil had a very medicinal taste that left a lengthy burn in the back of the throat, and a heavy, lingering, unpleasant aftertaste. It is also important to note the manufacturer uses a Best Buy Date instead of the Harvest Date. Typically a Best Buy Date may be upwards of 3 years beyond the actual harvest date. For my taste, I am unable to recommend this brand. Into the trash it goes. America's Test Kitchen's review of store bought olive oils, review done a year ago, proved informative. I wish I had found that review before making my purchase.
