Filippo Berio has been in business since 1867......my Uncle was Iralian and recommended thos Extra Virgin Olive Oil for me to use and I :LOVE it. I put it in my water when Im boning pasta etc. and on my salads with balsamic vinegar etc. Its just delicious!!! And I use it when Im cooking food on my stove top and its NON-GMO too! 5 STARS
has a lot of polyphenols which are very good for your health and I believe it's taste is just as good as any that I've used it's a cold press first press so I know that it's high quality olive oil and I always seem to get deals from manufacturer or coupons when I shop for this product so it's one of my favorite products to buy in the olive oil brand
Olive oil lovers.. not over the top pricey and is in a dark bottle to keep the health benefits there. A good choice. I will go to the larger size next time as cook and use often. Family of 5.. goes quick. Individual or couple use..a good quality size and brand. Enjoy! 😜😁
if you don't love olives dont buy it, you can taste the olives . its got lots of olive taste in it . i buy it because i love the taste of Mediterranean food with it. it brings out its atmosphere of the Mediterranean .. for me!
Good tasting on salad and as good as expected for cooking
Very tasty! No need to buy expensive extra-virgin olive oil. This does just fine. I eat it on salad along with vinegar, salt and pepper and it's very tasty.
Had to switch over to this stuff from the really good $18 stuff because I'm poor. It tastes fine but it definitely leaves something to be had. Cooks great and will work if it's all you can afford.
This tastes good. It is easy to pour. Easy to store. Hold up while cooking. It's the price that I bulk on.
The Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil had a very medicinal taste that left a lengthy burn in the back of the throat, and a heavy, lingering, unpleasant aftertaste. It is also important to note the manufacturer uses a Best Buy Date instead of the Harvest Date. Typically a Best Buy Date may be upwards of 3 years beyond the actual harvest date. For my taste, I am unable to recommend this brand. Into the trash it goes. America's Test Kitchen's review of store bought olive oils, review done a year ago, proved informative. I wish I had found that review before making my purchase.
The bottle said good 12/26 but it tasted bad and after using 3 days had very extreme diarrhea and hospitalized 12/01 and 12/02.
