I won't say this is the BEST FE to date, because I have a couple of personal favorites; but I will say that this is the best it has been in a long time! I really enjoyed all of the added content not seen in previous installments (calendar system, forging bonds, etc). If you're on the fence, get it! The length of time needed to complete all three stories more than makes up for the full price tag.
This is a must play for JRPG fans. Even if you haven't played any Fire Emblem games before, I highly recommend it. There are so many different builds you can try for all the characters. Having a blast with the combat.
Really fun game, kind of reminiscent of Persona with the balancing of gaining skills/support and battle. The story is a bit predictable so far, but still enjoyable. The characters and their supports are interesting and don't feel too generic.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a masterclass in tactical role-playing, seamlessly blending deep, turn-based grid combat with an engaging, Persona-style social simulator. Set at the Officers Academy, the game tasks you with choosing one of three distinct houses to lead, each offering a unique perspective on an epic, continent-spanning war. The addition of the monastery exploration and the ability to mentor your students individually makes every character's fate feel deeply personal, especially when playing with classic permadeath enabled. While the school segments can occasionally feel a bit repetitive toward the end, the sheer variety of strategic options, the emotional weight of the story, and the massive replayability make it an absolute must-play for any strategy fan. Key Highlights The Three Houses The choice between the Black Eagles, Blue Lions, and Golden Deer fundamentally alters the second half of the game, offering entirely different story beats, maps, and character perspectives. The Monastery The social simulation aspect allows you to share meals, train, and build relationships with your students, which directly impacts their performance and loyalty on the battlefield. Tactical Depth New mechanics like Battalions and Combat Arts add fresh layers of strategy to the classic turn-based combat, while the Divine Pulse feature allows you to rewind time to correct fatal mistakes.
Quick delivery! Worked great when sent as a gift to a friend.
It's something new for fire emblem. It's interesting.
Great entry in the Fire Emblem series. Fantastic RPG and story elements. Easily 100 hour game with all the different paths you can take and expansion DLC. Well worth it, even on the Switch 2.
I'd give this one a 10/10. The game was delivered instantly and at a fair price by Walmart. I spent hours and hours playing this game and the story had me hooked at all times. The different routes makes it very replayable.
Fire Emblem Three Houses and a fantastic entry in the Fire Emblem series with great characters and a fun teaching system to focus on the skills you like for you units outside of combat. Order was quick and sent straight to the email.
It was a good game, and the gameplay was similar to previous fire emblem games.
