I thought they were a good deal. Great for cold mornings when you are out of firewood you can still get a fire going. Best part about these is they are safe to cook on.

This wood is amazing! No more struggling with kindling and wet wood- fire starts immediately and burns bright and hot- highly recommend

Great product I have been using them for 2 years. Hard to find in stores.

Burns well and gives lots of heat.

These are not easy to light unless you follow the directions closely, then you end up with a total of two fires that burn for up to 5 hours each, which is about 2 hours more than we ever need. Best used on an existing fire. The "Breakaway" kindling must have run away. I never did find any.

First there was no starter. Second, the wood is very difficult to ignite, even with wax fire starters. Quite frankly, I can't imagine what anyone would want to use these for. I bought two packs and ended up using them as an expensive substitute for real firewood. It really wasn't worth it for me.

These lives were impossible to light. We could not use any of them. We tried firestarter logs, newspaper, etc. I would not recommend.

I was very hopeful about this item BUT when the first cool night arrived I opened the sealed package and attempted to light 4 logs in my new fireplace. I used pieces of cardboard box as a lighter. The cardboard burned beautifully BUT the “logs” wouldn't light but began to smolder, and smolder and smolder. There wasn't anything I could do to actually get the logs to light. I finally had to throw them into the yard and put them out with my hose. This was an abject FAILURE! Short story…..DON'T BUY THESE! I only wish I could give ZERO stars.

There's no fire starter or kindling pieces in the package and I haven't been able to get it to burn with the fire starter I have on hand. The instructions say to break off these pieces and how to lay them, but there's nothing to break off. It's a hollowed out type of wood with a coating %26 I was hoping the coating would catch but it hasn't.

This product is not worth the money. It doesn't perform the way it is advertised. Don't waste your money on this
