While not cheap, this purchase allowed me to replace all 6 detectors in my home in a few minutes. It has been a week and they seem to work great.

Our hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide detectors started to fail as they reached their end of life. The six pack was more cost effective than purchasing individually and work as expected. They even arrived with nine volt batteries to just plug them in and you are all set.

Good value. Used to replace older hardwired smoke detectors and added the Carbon Monoxide detection.

Replaced all existing detectors for home safety

Walmart had the best price. I've had these devices for 7 years and they are starting to need replacement, one by one. Walmart offered the 6 pack at the best price so I can replace them all at once. I will have to see if they last 5 years as stated on the device.

House had this model detector already installed and in 8 years they reached there EOL, (5 Chirps!!), a few years earlier than expected but reordered same model so installation/replacement was much easier to tie in old electrical input. Understand from First Alert website this model has now been discontinued, I suspect new technology and hopefully not issues with product quality!!

Recently, we had to replace all of our smoke detectors around the house and we decided to get these. They are super easy to installed, and work great!! I like that they are both smoke and carbon monoxide detectors so now all of our rooms have one and we don't have to worry!

The only minor negative was that one of the wires of each detector did not have a removable sleeve. Which resulted in having to strip each detector's green wire manually. I did not purchase wiring adaptors and therefore had to rewire each detector's installation. These detectors replace older ones.

The product was fine but the delivery was 5 days late. Delivery was promised "by September 3" but didn't arrive until September 8. Needing to urgently replace several detectors, I specifically selected this seller because of the promised delivery date and they just didn't deliver as promised. Tracking showed that a shipping label was created right away but apparently the order then sat on a shelf for several days before being shipped. My attempt to track down the actual seller to find the shipping status was a joke. Walmart's online Help Chat insisted name of the seller was "Top Seller"! I was able to determine that the seller was DJ Direct in Bayonne, NJ but they weren't answering their phones. The order arrived five days late but there was no communication from the seller. I would not recommend this seller.

I ordered %26 paid for 6 First Alert alarms. Packing slip in box also indicates that 6 alarms were shipped to me. I am still waiting for an update from Walmart and / or the vendor / supplier. Please advise.
