Fiskars 8" Glitter Bent Sewing Scissors, Sparkle, Color May Vary

So many gambles are taken daily on items ordered online. With Fiskars you never have to worry about quality and durability, it's always great. These scissors feel like they are made straight from a mold of my own hand and I love the sparkly glitter handle! The cut is always smooth and there is no doubt they will last as long as I need them to. Thank you Fiskars for being a company I can count on in this highly uncertain time of online ordering.

These Fiskars 8 Glitter Bent Sewing Scissors perform well while being very pleasing to the eye with their colorful glitter plastic handles. They are very sharp and their ergonomically sculpted handle fits well in the hand. They are a bit stiff at first. But in time will become broken in and be less stiff. They cut through fabric very well with very clean edges. The high-grade, stainless steel blades feature a precision-ground edge that stays sharp longer and cuts all the way to the tip. Which is essential when cutting fabric. I also have used them on paper and cardboard with equally good results. They give a precise cut each time. So I am very pleased with how these Fiskars scissors perform in multi tasks.

It's just a scissor, right? Though this is an everyday necessity and not really something that needs to look fancy, I do love an added little sparkle! It's just so much more fun than a standard blue or orange handle that I'm accustomed to! Makes crafting just a little more fun! At first, cutting was slightly uncomfortable with this...but I believe it was just because I was so accustomed to my old scissor. It just seemed a little bulky. Now after using it a bit, totally normal and has great control! It's a perfect size for everything from paper to fabric. Also VERY sharp and would cut through quite thick fabric I believe! Fiskars always has great products and this is no exception!

I received a silver glitter pair of these full sized sewing scissors. They're comfortable to hold and cut a crisp, straight line through my cotton fabric I'm currently working with. The glitter is safely embedded in the handles so there's no rogue glitter falling around my work area.

These look good and they cut. I keep them on my kitchen table for cutting out coupons and articles or recipes from the newspaper. I have not complaints yet, but I wish I had purchased the 9 in gold Wescott scissors. They were a little more money, but I regret now buying them. They were more impressive in looks with an inch quicker snip range.

Great pair of scissors here! Nice and SHARP, comfortable handle. They're also gorgeous with the purple sparkles! I've hidden them because my family always takes my scissors for whatever and I can never find them when I need them. These are Mama's scissors! Lol!

I got the sparkly silver Fiskars Bent Sewing Scissors and let me tell you, they will cut through a lot more than I thought they would. Very strong and sturdy scissors. They feel great in my hand and they're very easy to use. It doesn't take much strength to cut through even the toughest of materials. My mom sews and quilts so she told me Fiskars is a great brand. I love these and definitely want to purchase more in multiple sizes for all kinds of different jobs!

I'm an avid knitter and I'm always looking for things to make my work easier. I do fabric work every once in a while. I just made a costume for my daughter to play Mary for our Christmas play and I used these scissors. I'm completely amazed at how sharp they are. My hands are also big and I find some scissors to nor fit right or give me pressure points. These Fiskars fit my hands amazingly and are easy for me to use consistently. I have had no issues using them. I will warn you they are super sharp! I'm seriously impressed with these and I know they will last me a long time (assuming someone doesn't take them from me, lol).

The scissors come in assorted colors and I was happy- mine are a beautiful bright sparkly turquoise. These scissors are very comfortable to use and I like how they conform perfectly to my hand. This is really important for someone doing a lot of cutting, as I would get a sore thumb from my previous pair where they rubbed my joint. The only downside I noticed is that they are a bit heavy. This wouldn't be too noticable unless, once again, doing a lot of cutting. I also think the blades should come with a removable sleeve to protect them when not in use. Overall they are perfect sewing scissors.

This review is for the Fiskars 8" Glitter Bent Sewing Scissors, Silver Sparkle. Fiskars makes the best scissors. They are sharp all the way to the tip of the blade with a smooth scissoring action. Just as important, the handle is comfortable. If you've ever gotten hand fatigue or pain from cutting a lot of fabric, you know what I mean. The handle is ergonomically designed for a flat fit around the thumb and fingers that doesn't pinch or dig into your fingers or thumb. In addition, the handle is in a "bent" position which makes cutting something that lays on a flat surface much easier. These particular scissors have a sparkly handle which a bonus because they are just as beautiful to look at as they are functional.
