Fiskars Axe and Knife Sharpener

(World #1 Pruner)well i have a couple of lawn Tools and it is almost time to get outside and work my Garden i have a couple of Pruning tool and small shears that needed sharpening and this Tool was small enough to do the job and get up on the end of the Tools and NOW i have very Sharp Pruning & Shears tools..it was easy to use just back and forward will sharping the tool and the handle keep it from slipping while sharpening!this is a great must have Tool for Small Tools job!

The Fiskars Sharpening File is about Six inches long,it is a Diamond Coated surface it restores sharpness with just a few passes,it is ideal for removing nicks and burrs that are caused by sharpening the surface,this file really does work very well so now i can actually cut the small limbs,twigs,and vines without just bending them over.It sharpens knives quick and easy and it only takes a minute or two and it is done and they are as good as new.Sharpen one side of the blade and turn it over and file off the nicks and burrs that might be left behind,it really is that easy.The Fiskars File has a lifetime warranty and you can not beat that.This is a tool you will want to keep in the garden shed.I am glad i got it and you will be to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ax sharpener from flixsters sharpens a wide variety and size range of blades. It's definitely not just for axes as I've been sharpening all of my kitchen knives since I've received it. I've long been a user of flixster products and have never had any issues and this little knife and ax sharpener is no exception as it gets the job done. I haven't even made my way outside to sharpen our axes yet but if our sharpened kitchen knives are any hint, the access will be a sharpest can be. What are knives have never been sharper. I highly recommend this product as it is compact and inexpensive and works like a dream.

I was able to successfully use this to sharpen our axe as well as some other tools and it worked really well. It was easy to glide the blade through the ceramic sharpeners and it made the tools like new. I'd recommend this if you need a sharpener.

It sharpens as well as any expensive brands sharpener but with fiskars brand the price is always a PowerPoint because their prices are so low. I do need to point out ,however, that this is not for your normal sized axe sharpening but actually for a kitchen knife sized axe instead. all in all this sharpener serves it's purpose well. Jt

a knife and hatchet sharpener maybe. when trying to use it for my felling axe the plastic clip for easy cleaning broke off then it just rolled with each swipe making it useless. If i put the clip on and try to hold it, it becomes a safety issue. 0 out of 5 - not for axes.

I attempted to sharpen my hatchet and it didn't seem to sharpen at all. We did it according to the packaging but hatchet remained dull.
