Fiskars Non-stick Micro-tip Garden Pruning Shears, Orange and Black, 2 Pack

These Fiskars Pruning Snips are ideal for many purposes. Roses were deadheaded faster than ever before. I pruned several other bushes in a short time. One of the pairs has been designated for indoor snips. They are extremely sharp and useful. The tip covers are very beneficial.

I have a garden that I maintain every spring, summer, fall; so, these snips really come in handy. They work great for dead-heading plants and cutting stalks of plants that need trimming. Note that these are for light-duty work – narrow, easy-to-cut stems. For thicker or woody stems you want to use a pruning shears. But for the job, these cut very well. They have stainless steel, micro-tip blades that are coated black. I do not expect these to rust like by older steel pruner. The tips are even non-stick to prevent resin build-up from stems that can occur with repeated use. The handles spring back after each cut and there is a lock mechanism to lock them closed when not in use. A plastic cover is included to put over the tip for safety. Oh, and did I mention, you get two of them in the pack. These should provide years of use. The packaging notes that these have been awarded the Arthritis Foundations' Ease of Use Commendation for those with limited hand strength. They come with a lifetime warranty as well. I would certainly recommend them, and I look forward to using them extensively in my garden.

These are Fiskars brand of non-stick pruning snips. It says they have precise trimming and shaping for plants and flowers. They come in a pack of 2 and I like that they come with rubber tips to put on the ends of the blades when they are not in use. The tips are stainless steel and the blade stays sharp. The nonstick coating on the blades helps reduce the amount of buildup that can cause them to stick. The handles have an Easy Action spring to help reduce and fatigue. They are labeled with the Arthritis foundations ease-of-use label. I have arthritis and they were easier on my hands then some of the other snips I own. They also come with a full lifetime warranty. To close them just squeeze them together and Slide the orange latch up then slip the blade guard over the blades. These are the perfect size for my smaller outdoor plants that need trimmed back for the fall. They are all so perfect for indoor use on flower arrangements and bouquets. I like the Fiskars brand as well. I've used it for many years. Their products are of good quality and last for a very long while. I would recommend these trimming and shaping shears to others.

I love to do gardening and I constantly look for the best tools to make this hobby of mine easier and more enjoyable. I was so happy when I found this set of two snips. They are simple the best in the market, and I know that because I have tried others. First of all they are made of very good quality stainless steel and their Micro-tip blades stay always sharp. These blades stay sharp even tough they are used constantly. The Micro-tip blades give you a precise cut all the way in the plant allowing a clean and healthy cuts even in the tight places. The non stick blade coating reduces the jamming of the plant. The Easy Action spring open the blades genteelly and it helps to reduce the fatigue of the hand and also this is a product that have been awarded by the Arthritis Foundation Ease of Use Commendation which is a socially responsible product for those who suffers with this illness but still enjoy gardening. These snipes gives a precise trimming and shape of the plant, they are ideal for small plants with flowers like kalanchoe. I am amazed by this new too and the best part they come 2 in a package.

Love how these came in a two pack and covers for the tip. I'm always misplacing my snippers and always welcome extras. Very smooth open and close, has a lock to keep them closed when not in use for safety. The non stick blades are great for easy clean up especially if pruning trees or fruit that has sap. The blades are stainless steel, this should avoid rust. Lets not forget to mention the full lifetime warranty.

These pruning sheers are so easy to use, but so delicate like doing surgery on flowers. I love flowers and plants and these have made it so easy to take care of them and make them look beautiful and eye catching. I'm really able to get into all the little tight spots easily with the precision micro-tips on them. I like how they have covers to put on the sharp tips to keep everyone safe. I can't believe I have lived without these!!

I love these great little snips! They're lightweight but sturdy. I've used them to trim small trees that pop up, snip cardboard, and they cut through zip ties like a champ! They have a slide that locks them in place so the blades don't stay open, and it is very easy to move to open and close. They also come with blade covers to keep the sharp tips secured. Great little snips that can be used for so many things indoors and outdoors!

I like that these pruning snips fit in my handle well and are super easy to squeeze. The snip tip is small, so it fits in harder to reach places. I found the tip sharp enough to cut different stems. Overall, these are a good option for precision pruning.

I have been in my local bonsai club for several years, and one thing I'm always in need of is good trimmers for my plants. These are nice! It's great to get two in a pack. Each has a soft plastic cover to put over the trimmer part when you're not using it. There's an easy slide to open or close the trimmers. They're about 6" long. The trimmers are lightweight and easy to use. They feature stainless steel blades that should remain sharp. They have a spring to reduce hand fatigue, even earning the Arthritis Foundation's "Ease of Use Commendation" -- this is helpful, especially if you have plants to trim for quite a while. My only recommendation is that, for bonsai at least, I would love for one of the trimmers to have concave blades, since this is helpful with many plants or bonsai.

I needed new shears & I thought these would be great because they came in a pack of 2. I just received them 1 hr ago & started using them in my garden. They are great for small plants & indoor plants. Would be great for herbs. I was using them to cut down my lazy susans & they are already worn out. They would not bounce back open. They still seem sharp but not made for anything over 1/2" in diameter. On the positive side they come with a cover for the shears. They did help me cut a lot of dead plants in the garden. I will use these for flowers in planters & to cut herbs.
