Worth the price

Denise August 30, 2021

The products is okay for the price. Battery doesnt last as long as it says. It's not scratch proof like it says so be careful. All the options are nice. Sometimes it has a problem connecting to the phone but if you reboot it it normally reconnects. Overall I like my fitbit. I had the firbit alta and it died on me so this was the watch that I choose to replace it. I also like the fact that its waterproof though.

When I opened the box, it was torn on the inside, a returned model. Very hard to work, had to YouTube everything to figure out how to work the watch. But now I've got it going and recharging and hopefully it will last. Don't like buying something new and getting somebody else's RETURN !!!!!

Works well but not for long with manual labor

Branson September 11, 2022

First off I love my fitbit charge 4 and i have used them when they came out. It works well, however there is something that needs improvement. I'm on my second pair and probably last. It had just broke the same way as the first one. I work as a mechanic and im constantly put my arms into though and tight spots and so i like the low profile of the watch. My problem is with the bracket on the watch itself and that it screws into plastic mounts. both pairs have broken at that plastic mount and theres no way to fix it without replacing the whole bottom and at that point you may as well replace it. Again I love the fitbits but this is a common problem for me and i will probably look for a different watch. If this problem is resolved or if its not a problem on the newer one i will come back.

Not Happy

Rue June 2, 2022

Don't waste your money! I bough this fitbit 7 months ago and the band broke on yesterday. Apparently the only way the band on this Charge 4 will last is if you don't wear it and that defeats the whole purpose. The band at the connector broke and cannot be fixed, and it's not just wear and tear from reading all of the comments on the forums onFitbit.com site. A lot of unhappy people.

Should be clearly listed as PRE OWNED

Mike March 8, 2026

I learned by contacting Fitbit support that this was a PRE OWNED product thus not covered by their warranty. My product was DOA (dead on arrival). Not fully dead since the watch functioned but none of the Fitbit functions worked (heart rate, steps) so pretty much worthless. Fortunately Walmart support stepped up and offered a refund, but I would encourage anyone purchasing these devices to test them out to make sure they are functional within the return period.

Kate April 2, 2021

I've had this charge for less than two months and the band is already broken. I wear it daily but take it off to shower and do not subject it to abnormal strain. I'm growing less and less impressed with Fitbit over the years and next time will likely invest in a competitor. Between the continuous failures of displays, the physical failure of the devices and bands, and the constant failures and upgrades of the software, this company is NOT representative of their early successes 5-8 years ago.

Common defect as a result of using cheap materials

Lauren November 8, 2021

Don't bother wasting your money on this product. I had it less than 6 months before the band started to disconnect from the tracker. This is an issue that is now commonly known (too bad I did not know it at the time or I would have spent my money on another product). The materials used are made of cheap plastic which allows dirt/dust/sand to get between the band and tracker and result in a defective attaching mechanism. All of the components in the mechanism are intact, but it falls off at the slightest jostle so I can't even wear it biking or running for fear of it falling off in the middle of a street. Extremely disappointing for a product that retails for $150. This is my third Fitbit product, none of which have lasted more than a year. Clearly it is time to make the switch to Garmin or another tracker that will actually last.

Received an Empty Box!!!!!

Sally February 11, 2024

When I received the envelope and opened it, the box was EMPTY!!! There was no Charge 4 Fitbit or charging cord!!! I have tried numerous times to get a replacement mailed and now just want a refund of the money I spent of $157.75! Do not deal with this shipper as they are unreliable and don't respond to requests for refunds.

Biggest disappointment

Adrianne February 12, 2025

I bought two and my husbands has already fallen apart (literally in three pieces) . Mine is constantly shutting off even at 49% battery, a full charge doesn't even last 48 hours. What was meant to be a helpful/healthy gift, turned out to be the Biggest Christmas gift disappointment. This is my 3rd Fitbit in almost 10 years, I'm very disappointed.
