FITNESS REALITY 1000 Ultra 800lb Weight Capacity Power Rack Cage

this is a great starting point for buying your own equipment. this thing is impressive and well made, sturdy and can hold up to 800 pounds. my husband has already been using this, he is quite impressed with it, he weights around 220 and can easily pull himself up using the top rack. I cannot do that, though I can reach it, my upper arm strength is not as good as his, lol. the top rack does stay on and the two back rails stay on and they cannot be moved in any other spot. the back rails are needed for stability. they give you an instruction book and welcome pamphlet. in the pamphlet there is a app you can download, like your own personal trainer, the app is myfitquest for android and apple. there is also youtube video link to help get started after you set it up. link is fitnessreality.com/whatnow. we only have hand weights, but with this we can now buy a bar weight to use with this. there is a bench you can buy separately to use with this as well. the safety catches can be moved anywhere up and down the rack. I was able to put this together by myself, it took about two hours, because of all the bolts and the items being heavy. they give you two wrenches to use to assemble, but I also used a rubber mallet. when assembling do not tighten the bolts all the way because you'll never get the next one in. tighten all at the end. also I found that sometimes the bolts would not go through unless I screwed them in the connecting piece instead of just pushing them through the holes. there are rubber feet on the bottom so no sliding. it is 78.5 inches tall without the top rack, add another 6 inches to include the top rack, and it is 60 inches deep. the only issue was the box it came it, I get it, it's heavy, but the manufacture should have done better in shipping. my box was taped on one end where it obviously came open, nothing was missing, but the box of hardware was open all over the place in the bigger box. all the bolts had ripped through the cheap plastic holders, thankfully they were all the same type of bolts. they need a better container to ship the hardware in, so you don't lose any pieces, my only issue.

I am reviewing the FITNESS REALITY 1000 Ultra 800lb Weight Capacity Power Rack Cage. I selected this item so that I could use it for chin ups, and to hook my TRX up to the top of it. It works great for both things. Although when doing TRX the cage will move a little so its best if you bolt or strap it to something if using it for TRX / suspension training workouts. This equipment also doubles nicely to hook up a hammock type chair to the top and even an adult type swing as well. It holds 800lbs so plenty of strength of all of the above mentioned uses. It was easy to put together but defiantly a two person job to hold things during assembly. The quality of the product is good. It seems very sturdy and well made, not flimsy at all. It was delivered in a well constructed box. The box weighed about 150lbs so its best if the delivery company delivers it right to your door. You will need a second person to get the box in your house and to help you bring it to the location that you are going to put it together and store it. Recommended.

Nice for the price. Its fairly easy to assemble just dont tighten bolts till everything is together. If you do it will be a pain. It is strong but needs to be on a level surface so you may need to put something under certain corners if it isnt a level surface. Great product for the price and exactly what i needed. Shipped within a week and comes in a heavy 146 lb box so be carefull and get help to put together.

I would say that I am a competent weight lifter, and this rack has met all my needs. I would imagine that pricier racks feel a little bit nicer, but I am able to do all workouts that I would like to and feel confident that the safety bars are protecting me. I would definitely suggest this product if you are trying to get a workout set for cheap.

Easy to assemble. This is a great rack. I use it for squats and bench press. I also use the bars on top for pull ups. Good price as well. Very stable and sturdy rack.
