Great equipment just need product leathering to be water resistant or comes with a tarp for outside stay
Im super picky and have high standarts and this bench is like the ones in the gym! Its super well done and worth the $100.
Very easy to assemble, looks good and very functional. Biggest drawback is the adjustments for the seat and seatback are screw adjustments, would prefer a manual pin or spring pin for easy and quicker adjustments. All in all great value for the money, I recommend!
I bought this bench to replace one that's over 20 years old and has been outdoors the entire time. The cushions and plywood on my old bench are nearly rotted away, so I figured I'd finally treat my self to an upgrade. This Fuel bench is really solid, heavy duty, and well made. The cushions are comfortable. The only drawback is that the bench angle adjustment is locked with a screw-in knob instead of a spring loaded pullout pin like the pro high end benches have. Meh. So it takes me 10 seconds to set the new angle instead of 1 second. This minor annoyance is the only reason I don't give it a 5 star. Otherwise it's great. Buy one, workout, stay healthy!
I've been actively using this bench for the past 2 weeks. This is a great bench for the price. I would recommend this to a friend. It was time for a new bench as the one I had was starting to break up. It says it's rated to 300lb but I've seen other listings that say it needs to be changed to 700lbs. Between me and the weights, I've already put close to 600lbs on it already. Solid construction, though the padding isn't as soft as I would like. Assembly was a breeze but the top pad appears to be at a slight cant. It's still fully functional and only bothers my OCD tendencies. Pros: -Light weight, easy to move -Fluid adjust ability on the fly -Adjustable lower seat (Great for added support during incline presses) -Great value (Exceeds other benches in this price range) Cons: -Harder cushion than I thought -Wish the position lock up was a little more secure especially for the top portion (again more OCD) Overall I think this bench will serve my purposes for years to come. If anything changes I'll post an updated review.
Great construction, but pads do not appear to have good foam. But, for the price, it's a very good deal.
The bench has a decent construction, is lightweight, very mobile (wheels and a handle), capacity is 500lb instead of 300lb (Frame has a sticker indicating that). For the price it's a great bench, that looks good, has nice adjustment options and is only 18.8" high (from the floor to the top of the seat). Although it may require some modification if you strip the bolts that attach frame support part with wheels to the main frame. When I was tightening the bolts to the main frame the connection didn't feel solid (I could still move the part 5 degrees back and forth around bolts axis). So, I kept tightening bolts to ensure rigid connection and stripped the bolts. The main problem of the design is that the thread holes in the main frame are too shallow (the thickness of the plate is about 2mm = 1/16") Also, the threads of the bolts are not very strong. I would suggest to manufacturer to make through holes with larger diameter and use nuts and washer to securely attach these two parts together. Or to weld nuts on the inner side of the plate and supply larger bolts with large thread specifications. That's what I ended up doing, plus, I drilled a 1" hole on the side of the frame to have a wrench access to hold the nut in place while tightening the bolt on the other side. Now the bench is Solid! If you are willing have a frame parts to be a little loose or if you could take 20-30 minutes to "fix" the design, then the bench is great for the money!
Not what I expected thought it looked a little more sturdy in pictures it's really light weight and idk how but it started to tip over while I leaned to the left while I laid on it
The item arrived on 12/9/24. The parts were loose in the box. It looked as if someone else had opened and returned this. The knobs for adjusting seat height were missing, and the vinyl was ripped on the smaller seat. I reached out to CAP Barbell, the supplier of this bench to Walmart. Their customer service team was unavailable via phone calls. Over email exchanges, they issued a parts order to be sent to my house. It's been over a month now, and I have not received anything. I have followed up multiple times over email to get the status of the parts order. They have not provided tracking or even confirmation that the parts actually shipped. So it was really just the same person, Renee, assuring me things were great when I still have a useless bench taking up space in my house. I plan to return this which will be a pain within itself since there wasn't any real packaging in the box. Don't waste your time buying this. Spend the extra $50-$100 to get a nicer one from Amazon or from your local sporting goods store. You'll be happier and save yourself this headache.
As other reviewers have pointed out the seats do not line up correctly. I read the reviews and thought that maybe some folks got the odd poorly constructed bench. So for $100.00 it was worth the risk to buy it and see, it wasn't. The ordering process is easy, the delivery came a day early, the assembly is simple however the product is not well made.
