Box arrived a little beat up from shipping, but all was good inside. Holes tolerances were aligned and metal beam pieces went together for a good fit. About 30 minutes to fully assemble if you have your own tools, other then what is provided. It's a good home space saving rack, rather then normal 4 post rack. I will be adding and modifying for dips bars soon. Only down side with 2 post rack is inability to easy perform pull-ups without first removing the bar and weights if already set-up for bench press or squats.
It does take two people to put this together. Will only wobble if you do not have weights on the bottom holders of the rack. Very sturdy for the money spent. Others that are equal to this one cost at least a hundred dollars more. I would definitely recommend others to buy this.
We got this on sale for about $170, regularly over $300. For the money, this was an excellent purchase! Even if we had spent a little bit more, I would still buy it again. Like some of the other reviews I read before purchasing, there were a few missing pieces but nothing big. We had some miss matched plates for the installation. We went without them instead of running up to the hardware store. No big deal at all. The paint does look a little splotchy in places like other reviews I had read but again, for the money, this thing is exactly what we wanted ( and we had been shopping around for quite a while). This cage seems fairly sturdy and works well for our needs. We weightlift about four days a week on average and this thing handles it all! It took me and my spouse about 2 1/2 hours to set it up and came in large chunks which made it extremely easy other than piecing together the right nuts and bolts. I would definitely recommend this and would definitely buy it again!
easy to assemble. fast delivery
I bought this mainly because of the price. It is a sub $200 power rack that isn't low in features. I wanted safety arms and a pull-up bar. The adjustability and plate storage is a plus. I am new to lifting so I didn't need one rated to 800 pounds. The packaging was sloppy. It arrived with all the hardware but there were bolts and washers scattered throughout the box. You can really tell where they saved their money in production costs. Base pieces only had top welds with the side contacting floor left unwelded. The better way would be to weld and then flat grind the welds. They saved money by going cheap. That said it still holds firm and is rated to 500 lbs I believe. If you lift that much then you are not the market for a sub 200 rack. If you want commercial quality then be ready to spend 300+. If you are looking for an economic rack to facilitate bench/squats at home then this is a good buy. Overall I would recommend this to a casual or beginner lifter.
For the price, this represents great value. The materials are strong and not cheap. It's obviously not as nice as a rogue fitness rack that cost hundreds more, but it is the best in its price range
Easy to put together, and does what I need. I am just starting out so I dont need something super expensive. So far easily holds 300lbs. Has some side to side sway but none back and forth.
Good deal for the price -"you get what you pay for". All of the parts were in the box although the box had lots of damage and had been taped up. Very simple to put together. The rack is rated for a max of 500lbs, but even with only 200lbs it sways a bit much from side to side. The adjustable brackets for the weight bars are nice, but they do tend to turn a bit and get canted. I use 4 inch c-clamps to hold mine in place for a secure hold. Overall I am very glad I purchased it.
The rack rails aren't properly positioned i have rails that are opposite sides the right number side is facing front an the left number side is facing backwards
The frame came damaged. Who ever delivered it didn't properly drop it off. Didn't noticed until my son put together today.
