I am writing this review for the fitness reality 2000 super max xl adjustable utility FID weight bench with detachable leg lock-down. So first I would like to point out that this is a very heavy bench. It's well over a hundred lbs. So Be prepared for that when transporting and building. But that is because this is made of high quality thick steel. And the seat is very comfortable and very well made. This is great for doing sit ups at multiple different angles. You can drop this all the way down for the hardest sit ups or raise it up for different degree crunches. This is also great to use with dumb bells. You can do many different angled workouts on this. I highly recommend it for a great addition to any workout room!
FITNESS REALITY 2000 Super Max XL Adjustable Utility FID Weight Bench with Detachable Leg Lock-Down is heavy duty, sturdy and made to last, with quality hardware. The product is very well assembled that is pure quality. It was delivered in a heavy duty box with three straps around the box. Very well packaged and absolutely no damage to the product in any form. Assembly was a snap you basically just need to bolt on the two base parts (feet) with four bolts, then add the leg lock down. One of the base parts have two wheels for moving the bench safely and easily. This is a FID (flat-incline-decline) weight bench. With removing one pin and moving the leg and replace that pin and the bench is flat for easy storage. The leg locks are removable and replaceable with the pull of one spring loaded knob, and can be adjusted in three positions. The backrest is easily adjustable by just moving the rear support tube from various inclines at 85/60/45/30/20 degrees 0 degrees flat and a decline of -15 degrees. The seat also adjusts up or down three positions to intensify the decline and incline with the removal of a single pin that is easily removed and replaced. One pin as well to move the seat back and forth three positions to avoid and gaps between the seat and back rest. The seat measures 8-11 inches wide and 15 inches long. The backrest measures 8-10 inches wide and 37 inches long. Very comfortable yet firm. The possibilities of this workbench is endless.
I love it so far! Assembly was extremely easy with two people took less than 3 mins. The different angles are really great and the seat has a nice feel and grip. Have only used dumbells with it so far but have very high nopes for it!
This bench is very sturdy vand well made and well worth the price. It's also pretty easy to clean chalk and sweat off of. Both the seat and bench are adjustable but if you set it up so there is no gap between the bench and seat you will want to make sure you seperate them before you adjust the bench to avoid ripping or damaging the material. It's easy to put together.
Don't typically write reviews and can assure was not paid for this. I've only had it for a week, but for the price I am blown away with the quality. Heavy duty and sturdy. Also incredibly easy to put together. There are literally 4 bolts to assemble.
I had do down size my home gym from 200 Sq ft to 65 sq ft during the pandemic. I need a bench for seated press and incline press that was foldable with a small foot print when not in use. I am a powerlifter that weighs 265 so the bench needed to be stable and sturdy. This bench met all my needs and more my 5 star is base on my needs (seated press, incline press and folded foot print) plus anything extra I can use it for Base needs Incline press felt good using 100lb dbs and pressing 245lbs in rack Seated press felt good using 85lb dbs and pressing 205 in the rack Foot print sits nicely against the wall sticking out less that 11 in Over all The bench is very sturdy. I have no concerns about going heavy on it. The width is a little narrow. It is tapers from 11 in to 8 in. usually benches are between 10-12 in . narrower is not bad , just different. It forced you to work on stability. Extra Decline- felt good using 315lb in rack . I dont do declines often but now I can at home Sit ups - this is a nice extra. it is not a sit up bench so dont expect much . I put it on a 4in block to increase the decline. Flexible the leg lock down hole is a standard 2x2. I was able to set up an old leg extension /curl attachment . this a was very nice surprise. Appearance it looks nice but the vinyl and the stitching is on the cheap side. The padding is not great either. I m pretty sure I will be duct taping it in within 3 years. If duct tape repairs after 1-3 years of use bug you, think twice Flat bench I did not get this bench for bench pressing If I did it would have been a different review. For a powerlifter this is 2 1/2 star flat bench for everyone else 3-4 star 1) The top is 3/4 inch higher than the base so 0% is not truly flat 2) I t is 18 in high and the legs stick out a lot. This screws with bench press form. It is useable but you will need to adjust your form to the bench. This is not optimal for heavy lifting 3) I did not feel comfortable going over 365lb with my head on the top on the bench. I turn the bench around and it felt more stable this way. I did bench lock out to 425lb with my head at the bottom. The bench was stable but I did not want to go higher because my form was off because of the height and leg width
It is built sturdy but, The backrest is narrow and the padding is really only 1" thick, I don't think you can count the board as padding. Not bad for $139. other than that it is very nice. If you have the space for a weight room don't waste your money on this, buy one from REP Fitness
Very solid. Good quality. Need to be careful on the seat position before putting up the back panel. Another downside is that it doesn't standup probably when folding flat. The tip of the back panel is the contact point to the floor. I could see the leather (fake) from there could be deteriorated very quick if you need to standup that way. Lying flat when folded, the contact point is the relatively sharp metal part of the frame, not the feet. It is not easy to move around on carpet or rubber floormat. It is fine if you don't need to fold it and move it around often.
FITNESS REALITY 2000 Super Max XL Adjustable Utility FID Weight Bench with Detachable Leg Lock-Down had pretty fast delivery. It was easy to assemble. To assemble we had to put the legs on. And for it to stand up properly we assembled the poles and leg braces. And that was pretty much it. The online description said you could store it away which was what caught my interest. Especially with me having a small place. I thought it folded up but I don't see where it does. But it does lower down in a flat position. You take out a pin to adjust it to lay it flat. So maybe you can store it under a bed or closet depending on how long each may be. I have not found a place to store mine yet. But this position does make it possible for storing away. It does not have a bench press bar stand included. You will have to purchase it separately. The top of the bench is adjustable to at least six different positions. Above & below a straight/flat position. The back rises above a straight/flat level in at least four different positions. It has wheels to move it around. You can store it easy when you take pin out & flatten it. Has a little weight on it. But some stronger than me could feel different about the weight. Over all it's nice for a variety of workouts!
When i opened the box i noticed permanent indentations in the memory foam padding under the side back support and 1 of the leg bar pads, due to poor packaging. It was packaged with heavy bars pressed against said items. There is no pic because the system wouldn't let me send it. System says the size of pic needs to be 5mb or less. There's no such possibility to have a pic size that small. I'm quite sure whoever set this portal up knew that. I'll be returning this...
