Floortex® Vinyl Lipped Chair Mat Hard Floor 36" x 48"

I had it shipped to store & was surprised it came in such a large box. I believe that is why it was hardly curled when I took it out of the box. It flattened in just a few days. It is spacious & made of a durable material. Does not slide around on my laminate floor. I am extremely happy with the quality of this product, which was at a price that couldn't be beat!

After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to purchase this clear mat. It was rolled (not accordion folded) in a large box when received at the store. Upon arriving home, I removed it from the box, unrolled it and laid it on the back porch. It flattened out in a couple hours with only a porch chair on one edge. I brought it inside soon thereafter due to the weather getting colder and put it in front of the computer desk. It laid perfectly flat and is the floor protection desired. I expect it to outlast me. The quality, shipping and price made a very good experience for us senior citizens.

Was very pleased with the mat, especially for the price compared to others I looked at. I can't speak to its durability as I have only recently put the mat down. I have it on hardwood floors and it is perfect for that. I had read one review about a "smell", but I detect no odor whatsoever. I have a problem with a lot of chemical odors, but not with this mat. It's flexible enough, lays flat and just does the job!

I am very happy with the Cleartex-AdvantageMat-Smooth-Back-Chairmat-for-Hard-Floors. I actually ordered two and am so very glad I did. They are perfect for what I was looking for. They don't slip or move around on the floors. There is no smell as some have stated. I had them shipped to my home and they came flat so there is no curling.

Until this purchase, I had been buying a similar product at Staples. This unit is slightly smaller in size, but it was nearly $20 cheaper. It does a fabulous job of protecting my rug, and it doesn't have those plastic cleats on the bottom that dig into your rug to secure it in place. This mat stays in place anyway. The other reason I like this mat is because unlike the ones I was purchasing at Staples, it is one whole piece. The other had a seam in the middle, which is where the plastic would always crack. I would suggest, however, having this product shipped to your home instead of site-to-store. It's a rather large and awkward package to try and juggle.

This is a quality product which serves the intended purpose. It replaced a previously purchased product which was worn out from use. My only negative observation has been, that due to the totally flat & somewhat slippery underside, the product shifts a little bit from where it was originally placed & has to be periodically moved back into place.

The chairmat is a generous size, 1 foot wider and longer than others in this price range. The quality is more than adequate. It arrived in good condition, rolled up in a large carton. But it took several days for the mat to fully uncurl & lay completely flat. It helped to place the mat in a warm area & lay several heavy books on it for a few hours. Overall happy with quality & price.

Chair wheels and floor under mat are critical. Our floor is Mexican tile with wide grout. The wheels on the chair are small and the mat is not firm enough to allow wheels to roll easily. The size, design, and mat itself is fine. I am looking into changing the chair wheels, and keeping the mat.

The mats came in quick enough, but were rolled folded like an accordion. One even had a couple of fold in it that simply will not come out. They would not lay flat even after weighting them down for over 24 hours. They have been on the office floor for over a week now and still will not flatten out. I am returning them ASAP.

Order placed on 1-27-13 (a Sunday), I received email notification item was ready to pick up at my local store on 2-8-13. This was a total of 13 days, or 10 business days after order was placed. In my opinion, there is no excuse for it taking that long on an item that was in-stock when ordered. Most items I order when shopping on the web are received within a week from other vendors. Chair mat was packaged in a long, large rectangular box and I assumed it had been rolled up to place in the box for shipping. Upon opening the package I discovered the chair mat had actually been folded up accordion style for shipping instead of simply rolling it up (Why in the world would someone do this??) I have had the chair mat lying in the sun on my pool deck for 3 days now....still not even close to being flat. (Florida, close to 80 right now) Item is being returned. It MAY have been O.K. had it simply been rolled up for shipment, but we will never know, it is ruined now. Your experience may well depend on who actually places the item in the box to ship!
