I discovered the secret. You can ONLY buy these in qty 18 plugs or less. Any more than that and they stack them in a single box. The trays underneath don't fair well. The top tray is fine but the more is stacked underneath the more dead grass you find. It's only a small savings buying more than 18 anyhow. Just get small batches. 18 plugs or less. Then they arrive great and plant/thrive well.

I'm super impressed with these St. Augustine plugs. They arrived quickly and were super healthy on arrival. I'm about a week in they're growing great.

I ordered this and it arrived about six days later-including two weekend days. It came in a secure, form-fitting package-so it didn't move around in transit. The sod looked fresh and green (see picture taken shortly after arrival-two plugs are missing because I had already planted them. It's a week later and the plugs I've planted still look healthy. (see photo 2). It's too early to say if they'll spread, and I can't guarantee I planted them correctly, but I am watering them regularly to try to encourage them.

I'm so impressed! It was delivered on time, still moist, and in very healthy condition. I'm beyond pleased! Indubitably 5 stars!

For the price, I thought I'd give it a try, not really expecting much. I didn't think it would be healthy after shipping, but there's no way this'll make it. I'm putting it in the ground since I have no other recourse. But the pictures should tell you what to expect. I opened the box the moment it arrived too.

I brought it for my new puppy,however it came and I called several times to speak with someone and left a message and no one called me back. It came with a certificate of some type .

The box was perfect size %26 sealed properly. After opening the box, I noticed the majority of the plugs were dry %26 discolored. I immediately watered the grass in an attempt to save it.

Delivered in poor condition already yellow and brown not the healthiest grass. Better off picking out your own in a store.

This grass did not look healthy. I would like to return the item because the grass is dead. I watered it constantly, and it was simply not looking goodcat all. A waste of money.
