Works great!
I was able to convert my 3 inch toilet tank to a 2 inch valve by stretching the sealant putty to fit the tank and then adding blue plumbing sealant on the bottom of the tank hole and around the top of the valve hole. This saved me several hundreds from not needing to call a plumber or replacing my tank. Works great. I actually purchased another 2 for my other bathrooms for when I would eventually need to repair them because of wear. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Fluidmaster Master 555crp8
Easy return service, this is second time I ordered this item, model 555crp8 with black timing cup. Both times received the 555c without the black timing cup. Might try again to see if they can fill the order properly.

The instructions were terrible. The glue was already dry in the unopened package. Must be discontinued. Junk. After trying to use went straight to trash.

Buyer Beware
The product sent does not match the photo or description. The new version of the product replaces the timing cup with an adjustable flapper that doesn't work nearly as well. Very disappointed with it's performance and I returned the product.
