I like this kit as it has everything you need to repair anything in the toilet tank (water closet) that you would ever need. Fluidmaster is considered a top brand for toilet parts and prefer them over other top brands. Be sure you know if your drain tube in toilet is 2" or 3". Most newer toilets use a 3" hole whereas my 30 yo toilets in my home are all 2". You can buy this same kit in the 3" size if that is what you need. Pricing is higher on the 3".

Perfect kit to overhaul toilet tank and works the first time. Yes there are some adjustments required since not all toilets are made the same but after putting in about an hours of work (I am DIY amateur) all was able to accomplished from disassembling existing flush valve and replacing with new one. Instruction booklet is fairly detailed and there is also a youtube link that is accessible for video visual instruction. Make sure to follow the instruction and not to over tighten when instructed.

This kits comes with pretty much everything. I was looking for tightening tool. And the tool itself cost $8 and wasn't even available. This kits comes with all the tool you needed so it was a no brainer for me. And the price was much better compare to Lowes and HomeDepot.

This is a wonderful set! The instruction booklet is the most simple, well written and easy to understand. Diagrams are perfection as well. I am a newly widowed 65 yr old woman, and this the first time I have done this sort of thing. If it hadn't been for the easy to follow instruction booklet, I would have messed it all up so badly. Just took my time, approached it calmly and when I was done with last instruction everything was great. No leaks at all and toilet flushes so much quieter. It is truly a wonderful kit. It had everything I needed. Even the tools. All I needed to provide was the small miter saw to saw off the frozen and corroded tank to stool bolts. That was the only tiring and difficult part I did not like. Thank you so much for making this kit! It's a good feeling and a rare one to buy something so well made with such simple and brilliantly written instructions and diagrams.

This kit was absolutely foolproof and included multiple different design gaskets. the instructions were extremely clear and I was able to accomplish the task even with multiple problematic issues with old corroded parts in under 3 hours. additionally the instruction booklet was extremely well done with step-by-step instructions and pictures, all well written.

Installed it, and the fill valve was leaking from the top. Checked everything it said to check, and it still was leaking. Called the company to get a new fill valve or cap, and they said we had to return the whole item to get a replacement. So we have to take the whole thing apart and return it. It is not just one piece it involves removing the tank. Buyers beware! We don't blame Wal-Mart because Wal-Mart is not the company that made it.

At first I thought this was a 5 star plus item. but when the toilet fill valve fails after a month, how can it be anything but 1 star. I should get a refund for this and the water wasted. The previous toilet valve in the toilet lasted 15 years. And this fails in 30 days. I would not buy this product again.
