I have two young California desert torts - about 1.5 years old, brother and sister. I wanted to add a nutrient supplement to their diet and to offer a variety . They love this stuff. It's a bit difficult for them to eat at this age, so I soak the pellets beforehand and they dig it! Will buy again.
Fluker's Tortoise Diet, 3.25 Lb My Herman tortoise's favorites. I feed this when fresh weeds aren't available.
GREAT PRICE. GREAT PRODUCT.
They are a little bit big for my tortoise. I break them in half.
my tortoise loves it. the only thing is the pellets are too big for him. i just grind them up for him. if he likes it i will grind it for him
my tortoise enjoys the size of the pellets !! :()
Smells like dry cat or dog food and our box turtles do not eat it. They are outside in 'wild' habitat and catch bugs. We also feed them worms, slugs etc. and hard boiled egg whites. I even let them bite my finger to get it in their mouth - to taste it, but they do NOT want it. I will be buying dried meal worms instead. I would say tortoises from a pet store would like these, they are used to them.
My tortoise "Stevie" Loves this type of food , though this particular jar has not peeked her interest , so , it sits on the shelf .
You get a Great Amount, and the Jar %26 Floating food sticks are huge... But my 32 year old turtle would not eat them. We tried several times, but they sank to the bottom and he took a bite and swam away from them... I got them for a treat as he grew up eating Tetra brand Floating sticks, but wanted to give him what I thought would be a nice treat... But he wasn't having it...
my turtle 🐢 don't like it at all,it dissolves too quickly in the water even when I try to hand feed Mr turddie he refuse so I had to order another brand , I just tryed to feed him something different , but I will never buy that particular brand again now I have to throw it away and it was quite expensive
