Being handicapped, it provides the assistance I need in putting my shoes on. I cannot bend over to do so, and therefore it helps in getting my foot comfortably inside my shoe! And I like the option of extending the length of the shoe spoon in case I need it!!

Two cost much less per than one and they are well worth it. If you have any problem putting on shoes, this is the answer! Sturdy.

My husband uses this everyday. He dresses very nice for work. He had been using a cheap free plastic one from a shoe store. This one is definitely an improvement. It slips in easier with the metal than a plastic shoe horn. Most of the time he is sitting down so he does not really care for the fact that you can't lock it short, and it wants to extend out long.

Love this shoe shoe horn since it not only extends like it says from 16” to 31” the actual horn of this BENDS so it's really flexible and so easy to get your shoes on. My one concern is how long will the neck where it beds will last it appears to be made really well but time will tell. I also am wondering about the shoe horn as it's not a real solid feel to me like I think it should be and how other regular shoe horns are. To me this is great for days I just am plain too lazy to bed over and put my shoes on .

I'm getting older and this thing works great for me never had to bend all the way down to my shoes. Made it very easy to put my shoes on even my wore out shoes that I like to walk around then but are not as sturdy around the edges as my newest shoes.

It works but it doesn't twist to lock. It extends to full length when pulling it up. I cannot make it lock in the mid length position no matter what I do.

I received my shoe horn about two weeks ago and I must say it's perfect. I love the fact that it can be used in different heights. I mean I can stand and not have to break my back trying to put my shoes on. I love how it's has a spring to help get into the back of your shoe. It's made very well.

I thought this would really help my son who has a hard time putting on his shoes. He just got more frustrated. It felt pretty flimsy. I felt like I was going to break it when I used it. I actually liked it ok when I used it but my son hated it. It has a spring just before the horn which I didn't realize. I couldn't tell if it made it harder for my son. For myself personally I didn't mind the spring. The handle was the part that I felt like I was going to break. Made of pretty flimsy metal. I probably wouldn't get this again.

well this is the second one I've attempted to buy that was retractable the first one did not have a locking mechanism on it and this one did.. however once you lock out the mechanism on this one and apply enough force it breaks the lock meaning it snaps out of the lock and then retracts back down to the normal size which does you absolutely no good when you need it to stay locked out fully extended
