This cleans really well, smells good, and made a difference. In the photo is the before and after. You can see the difference in the colors in the after photo.

I think this is the best you can get for cleaning upholstery. Spray it give it a minute and wipe with a damp cloth. Clean and fresh!! I don't know what happened but it is very hard to fine. When you do it is $8.00. I will not pay that much for it no matter how good it is!!! But anyway before Covid I could find it anywhere for $2.98 a can and then after Covid nobody has it and if they do the price is unreal!!! I found this so I will buy it from them!! I have tried many spot removers, including all of the ones recommended by the well known and generally reliable review sites, as well as all of the nationally known name brands. This 409 carpet spot remover is clearly the best and easiest I have found (it also works great on canvas shoes and cloth car seats). When treating multiple spots and waiting a couple of minutes for complete effectiveness before blotting, the "foam" makes it easy to see where you have treated, unlike the only other fairly effective non-foaming cleaner ("Folex") that leaves you unsure of exactly where you applied it when you go back to blot/wipe it up. I Highly Recommend this 409 spot cleaner, as well as the general household spray cleaner from 409, and no - I am not and never have been an employee, shill, or fanboy of 409. I am a retiree from the automotive industry that has found these two products to be highly effective for a very reasonable price. Best of luck on your future cleaning endeavors.

409 Carpet cleaner. Is good for cleaning carpet. The scent is to overwhelming. I can't see that this removes stains. Hot Shot orange and blue can from years back was a excellent stain carpet remover. Sad to see items that worked perfectly. Disappear from the stores shelf's and replaced with items that are junk.

I haul horses, if you have ever hauled horses you know the truck floor gets yucky. I use this on the truck carpet floor boards. It is the better carpet spray I have found. It's not magic but it helps.

I have beige carpeting. Normally these type of spray cleaners aren't very good BUT 409 works wonders on my carpet. Certainly not like having the carpet steamer cleaned but IT WORKS!

Hands down the best carpet stain remover for small to medium fresh carpet stains and to a good extent old stains as well. Spray on, wait, abrasive clean with a cloth, then vaccum when dry. I rarely vacuum after but it works well and one can goes a pretty long way. Thank you Walmart.

I have an elderly dog, and another elderly dog that visits for a couple of weeks at a time…and there are accidents as they settle into a new routine together. Formula 409 works wonders! Removes the stains, and smells fresh!

This is the second time I have bought a bottle of carpet cleaner that doesn't work!!! You all need to fix this. will never buy again! Don't waste your money. They no longer spray. cheap plastic nozzles!
