Amazing value. Cracked storage bin after a few days. Going to reach out and see if they will send a replacement. If you’re in the market for nugget ice and want value, look no further.
I LOVE THIS ICE MAKER!!! THE ICE IS TOP SHELF IF YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN 👈 I did my extensive research too ! I just wanted to avoid the crappy machines and ice so I did tha research and this ice maker had kept up with a family of 4-5 and we love our ice! Great all day , great for cook outs , great to fill your Stanley cup, mixed drinks or just ice alone ! It keeps up and the quality of ice is perfect!!
My only issue with is ice maker is that the ice backs up in the shoot so that machine thinks the basket is full and stops making ice. So you can’t walk away from it for long.
So far so good. Had it delivered today, went out to eat and was home in about an hour. The cube bucket was 3/4 full and still making ice. some of the reviews complained about the noise and sounds they make... I must have gotten a good one... quiet as can be. Look forward to see how long it lasts
This is our second counter type icemaker except this one is the small nugget maker. We absolutely love this one!!! Makes ice almost continuously and because the chunks are so small they cool the drinks down so fast. It's like having a Sonic ice maker on your own counter!!! The hopper is easier and bigger than the other $69 one that is otherwise available. If you have a choice, pick this one over the cheaper one, you will not be disappointed.
It's an okay ice machine, you add water, turn it on, makes ice, it works. The only real issue I have with this product is that because of the way the ice comes out the ice basket will never really get full on its own. When the ice comes out it makes like a landslide and blocks the entrance where the ice comes out, so the sensors in the product thinks that the ice basket is full when its really not, this means there will almost always be enough for like 2 cups and thats it. The only work around I learned to do is regularly checking the machine to push the ice away from where the ice falls to make more room for more ice to fall in, its a bit annoying. I would only recommend this product if you have a budget, if you have more money to spend id look for a better one, id pay more for a product that can auto fill the ice basket.
In the process trying to get a refund. It’s always noisy but the other day it just stopped and began whirring very loud and stop producing ice. Paid over 200 but now I’m back to using the 69 dollar one from Tik Tok. Not all it was meant to be for nuggets ice
The one I got was quiet and made ice but at a snails pace I’m returning it, it took about 40 minutes to make 2 scoops
How disappointing, I didn't even get to use this for 24 hours before it broke. Our old bullet style ice maker finally gave out after a few years and I decided I wanted to go for nugget ice this time. I was so happy with the way it produced ice and kept it cold without melting immediately. It looks very nice overall, and I liked that the ice bucket comes completely off for easy cleaning. It seemed nice and sturdy, all things considering it's supposedly a Frigidaire item, so I expected it to be great. Unfortunately I turned it on then stepped out for a couple hours, and when I came back I saw the lid was lifted up. The part where the ice comes out was completely cracked and ice was building up around it. I took it apart by undoing the screws to see what the malfunction was, and a metal piece inside had completely bent and snapped and caused. Had to return it already after a day and it's just really disappointing and makes me nervous to purchase another nugget style ice maker.
It only worked for a couple of months. I did regular cleanings on it as directed. One day it stopped working, but still made loud clanking noises. I turned it off and cleaned it again but it never worked. I ended up throwing it out because I figured they may not exchange it because I tried to fix it myself. When it worked, the ice was great through.
