This vacuum works great on pet hair and just all dirt and dust removal from carpet and flooring. Definitely happy with my purchase and love that the cord is retractable which is a great plus. This vacuum is lighter than most and easy to move across the floor while in use. The disposal of dirt and dust is easy to just empty into the garbage bag. Bissell is my new favorite (pet hair) vacuum.

I went ahead and bought this because of good reviews, so it probably doesn't need another good one, but there were a few additional points I wanted to address. The vacuum is well reviewed for picking up pet hair without tangling, but my apartment doesn't allow pets. I'm the one who sheds. I have very long hair and pretty much expect it to get tangled in a vacuum (there's no way around it). But: 1. The suction power on this vacuum is amazing. My floor has been slowly collecting more and more hair because I didn't have a vacuum powerful enough to pick it up. For the first time in years, my floor looks clean. 2. Yes, my hair tangled in the vacuum brush, but not as badly as I thought it would for how much hair it picked up. It looks like a lot of hair made it into the vacuum and not stuck on the brush. 3. The vacuum is easy to disassemble/reassemble and therefore easy to clean the brush.

This is a terrific little vacuum cleaner! We used to own a Dyson years ago when they first came out and it finally wore out. Then we decided on a Bissell after reading the reviews and checking it out. It was great until we wore it out after 8 years. This new model is looking cuter and has a lot more suction. It picks up everything and we have a deeper cleaned carpet and rugs.

Easy to put together! Great suction. Our shark was losing power and wasn’t getting our carpets clean. When I’d shampoo I’d be curious where the hair was coming from after I vacuumed. I vacuum everyday. Used this BISSELL and got an entire container full of hair and etc. that our other couldn’t pick up. Carpets look and feel brand new! Wow.

I went back and forth trying to decide which vacuum to get. I have very long hair that sheds like crazy and we have a cat. Our house is very close to the road so no matter what there is a constant dust stir up. This vacuum picks up everything. The suction is so good. I love the furniture attachment. And I love that the cord is retractable with just the touch of a button.

I think this is a great product for the price. It is quiet, the suction is great, and it’s very lightweight! I would like a longer cord and I am having trouble with the hose popping off the bottom because it does not grip tight enough on the plastic piece. I fixed this by attaching the wand attachment to the hose first and then attaching it to the plastic piece. This seems to grip better and it’s the reason I only gave it 4 stars.

when I first used Bissell vacuum.....the pressure of the air collected the dust both bottom and by using extend hose by itself. I do like how easy rewind cord. The only thing i dont like Bissell vaccum is that the extented hose aren't long enough to reach the ceiling trying to clean anything like cobb webb and buggs.

Do not buy this for thin area rugs. i put it on the highest level, and my rugs still get caught in the vacuum. This vacuum probably does great on carpet or something but not thin area rugs that i am eventually replacing. i believe it's really powerful, dt being a pet vacuum. ironically, my Bisell XL carpet shampoo vacuum does great on them. My Hoover, i didn't have a problem, so it's really powerful, so i would recommend thick carpet or maybe a thick rug but not thin cheap rugs that I bought online.

When using attachments, it shoots the dirt right back out the open hole where hose attaches when using in upright position. It does not pick up animal fur very well. It wads it up %26 leaves on floor. Wish I had returned this vacuum within the return window.

First time using it and the motor blew. I was using the hose and started smelling smoke. It has amazing suction, and sucked up a dog toy that was a foot away while i was using the hose. i turned it off as soon as I noticed it, but it wouldnt run afterwards. There is no way to turn off the bottom portion while using the hose attachments.
