To be honest, I was skeptical about this carpet cleaner and reviews. We moved into a house where the previous owner had pet stains. I was thinking we had to replace the carpets. Trying to save the budget, I bought this carpet cleaner. I’m impressed!!! It did a much better job than I thought with little effort! Thank you!!’

I was a bit skeptical to purchase this after reading some reviews, but found no other machine with better reviews, so I took I took a chance and bought it. The assembly was easy and straight forward. The dirty water tank is large, but the float inside stops it from filling very much, meaning you can only suck up about a quarter of the water you put down before you have to empty. The bottle of shampoo is tiny that comes with it, so buy more and if you follow the directions on using the machine exactly, not only will you quickly run out of shampoo, but have to empty very frequently. What I figured out was to only use the spray on the forward pass and the it worked well. As for suction power, it is great. But when you try to get the dirty water tank off, push down on the tank as you unclip the clips or the clips will not open. My carpet had not been cleaned in 13 yrs, and after one pass, it almost looked new. I let it day or two and then shampooed again. My carpets look so clean now and the water was not as black as the first pass. I plan a third shampoo this week. I am very pleased with this machine It is also a good value for the price. I like that I can take it apart to clean it too. It is a heavier type machine than I had before, but not too heavy for my old arms.

I am amazed at the quality of this machine for the price I used to have a $300 plus machine that died on me and I needed one right away so I got this and I am so happy it empties easily and maneuver as well. it’s very lightweight. It’s simple and it’s exactly what I need. Thank you

This rug shampooer is AWESOME! I have arthritis and device is easy to move. My carpet looks great and feels great after cleaning. Only has trial sample shampoo so I advise purchasing a larger bottle of cleaning shampoo. An excellent value when compared to other machines.

I have had great experience's with Bissell products. I picked the cleaner up, went home , cleaned two bedroom carpets. The carpets look wonderful. The machine was easy to assemble and cleaning the carpets took no time. The instructions were easy to follow.

GET THIS. IF YOU HAVE YEARS OF PET BUILD UP this literally made my room smell so good like literally took out all the fur and stains and made my carpets look brand new i will be buying the xl or the portable one for my stairs next time this is a life changer

This carpet cleaner did amazing! We do have low carpets but this instantly pulled up the dirt from our carpet. The whole carpet looked like the darker parts and the lighter parts are what the Bissell removed. Embarrassed I didn’t realize how bad the carpets were, but happy they’re clean :))

2nd time I've purchased this model - I'm a senior with upper back issues, so this is lightweight enough for me BUT that's also the reason the tanks require multiple, multiple refills per clean. Like, plan your afternoon on that fact. Good suction, good cleaning on lightly soiled carpet. When the cleaner tank needs refilled the machine makes a sound like it sucked in a sock, but no, just needs more clean water/solution. The power button should be in a better place like a foot activation, not on the upright handle. I purchase regularly from Bissell. My local shelter has received funds from their pet saving programs, and that's important to me.

This was easy to set up and use initially. The only thing I dislike is after the second use now every time I try to remove the dirty tank the latches that hold it down I struggle to get one of them to unclamp to the point it hurts my hand and I feel like its going to break because I'm pulling on it so hard!

This TINY little rug cleaner has a tank capacity that can barely do a 5‘ x 4‘ hallway with one tank. The only person I would recommend this particular rug cleaner to is someone who just has one to make it look like they clean rugs that don’t need to be cleaned because that’s all I can do is get a rug wet that was already clean cause it’s not gonna clean anything that’s dirty. Do not buy not recommended.
