Good, but I have never used a carpet cleaner that requires you to remove the shampoo container to rinse with just water. This machine needs a switch like any other carpet cleaner to stop the flow of shampoo instead of removing the container from the machine.

when we started putting the machine together, we notice the dirty water tank was dirty. Someone reboxed this machine. It did work and since I didn't have an extra 2 hours to return, we cleaned for Thanksgiving. Had this problem with Amazon, so I started buying from Walmart. I'm surprised to have this happen, I have used your company for decades.

This machine has been hit or miss since I bought it. Sometime it dispense the cleaning liquid and the won’t I fight with it every time I use it! Now it won’t dispense the fluid at all and I’m past the return window!!!! Only bought it in Oct of 25 so not even a year old

I'm trying to return this piece of junk but Walmart won't take it back even though I haven't used it and have plenty of time to return it. They like to play games with people and steal their money from them. That's what Walmart does best is screw people over

I purchased this Cleaner from Walmart 5-29-2026; that was described as New….I used it once…turned off , cleaned it. Now it has No Power!! Tried to used machine today (5-30-2026), and it will not even turn on!! I Called the Hoover support and sent them the s/n numbers and other info they requested and they are saying that it wasn't a recognized serial number or unit!! What!! You have to be kidding !! So I don't know what or where Walmart got this Hoover Power Scrub XL from , but you charged Me $170.00 for something that was pre used or already damaged . So either Hoover carpet cleaning machines are no good or Walmart/ Walmart sellers are selling bogus products I will be returning it to Walmart ! ASAP!!

I received this unit and started using it to clean my rug. Within 2 minus of use the handle broke. It is an extremely flimsy handle for such a heavy unit, terrible design, I have been searching and searching to find a phone number to discuss this massive design flaw with Wallmart but have had no luck so far. Hoover requires you to discuss the problem with the seller, so contacting them was useless. Don't buy this junk, or do any business with Wallmart unlesss you are 100% sure that what you buy won't break.

The only good aspect of this experience was Walmart Return Policy, very easy return. The unit dies not work %26 doing more research, the suction on these have too many ports for it to fail. I tried 3 different times to align it up, but the Suction never worked.

Waste of money!!!!! The fresh water tank doesn't sit snugly into the machine rendering it useless. The water is unable to spray and the entire machine can't be used. I bought this months ago and tried using it today so I'm out of the return window. Lesson learned, I will be staying far away from Hoover products moving forward as they're cheaply made.

Ordered this item while on sale. Few days later ordered was canceled by Walmart due to “out of stock” even though it was showing availability in local stores. Was told I could not get it for the sale price now and that it would cost fifty dollars more. What a rip off!

Terrible product. First, the directions are horrible. Vital information is left out and the instructions and what is shown is ambiguous. once it was put together the water and clean solution would not spray out. Calls to The helpline were useless as they only staff it from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday. There is an AI assisted Chatbot thing, but it is equally useless as it asks for the model number of the machine and after entering the model number five times it continued to fail to recognize it There was a QR code to scan it for help which directed you to a YouTube channel, which provided information not directly specific to the product in hand of course. Comments below the YouTube video all said the same thing it was terrible. The water could not come out. Customer service was awful, etc.. I returned it.
