Makes ice in under 7 minutes quicker than that really amazed…instantly started not to loud We Love it My Kids Jumped and ran to it when they got in the house replacement from our bully old Frigidaire that went out seems more better goood sonic ice our favorite Thank God Thank Walmart a Blessing Affordable The Bomb.com Love it!
Amazing value. Cracked storage bin after a few days. Going to reach out and see if they will send a replacement. If you’re in the market for nugget ice and want value, look no further.
Wife wanted this and just had to have it cause good old Sonic sold her on liking the small almost pellet like nugget ice. Makes plenty of ice decently quick and we love it. Very good build quality and we got it on a Black Friday deal for almost 1/2 off. Doesn’t need much water. About .3 gallons and it’s off to make the ice which doesn’t take long. Kinda noisy but not too loud. Features a self cleaning mode and a light for ice being up to the sensor and another one for water being empty. Only thing we don’t like is as stated in the instructions you have to knock the ice down every 40 minutes to be able to fit a decent amount or it will think it is full. Once again we are very satisfied with it and happy with our purchase as buying bagged ice was getting old.
Works very well. The only issue is that because of the way it is made the ice gets backed up and it says it’s full when it’s only half full. You have to stay on top of it and knock the ice down and make room for it to fall in order for it to not get backed up. It’d be better if you could walk away and not have to do that. It is also fairly noisy but for the price and ice quality it is a good deal.
The ice piles up under the slot where it drops and shuts itself off. You end up with a small “tower” of ice unless you keep raking it back. The price is WAY too high for such poor performance.
In the process trying to get a refund. It’s always noisy but the other day it just stopped and began whirring very loud and stop producing ice. Paid over 200 but now I’m back to using the 69 dollar one from Tik Tok. Not all it was meant to be for nuggets ice
The one I got was quiet and made ice but at a snails pace I’m returning it, it took about 40 minutes to make 2 scoops
I am including pictures. I do not advise anyone to buy this machine. 1. At about the 20-minute mark, you have to open the ice hopper and move the ice as it is forming a tower, and the ice blocks inside can't come out. 2. The minute the ice starts down the route to the hopper, it is already melting.
How disappointing, I didn't even get to use this for 24 hours before it broke. Our old bullet style ice maker finally gave out after a few years and I decided I wanted to go for nugget ice this time. I was so happy with the way it produced ice and kept it cold without melting immediately. It looks very nice overall, and I liked that the ice bucket comes completely off for easy cleaning. It seemed nice and sturdy, all things considering it's supposedly a Frigidaire item, so I expected it to be great. Unfortunately I turned it on then stepped out for a couple hours, and when I came back I saw the lid was lifted up. The part where the ice comes out was completely cracked and ice was building up around it. I took it apart by undoing the screws to see what the malfunction was, and a metal piece inside had completely bent and snapped and caused. Had to return it already after a day and it's just really disappointing and makes me nervous to purchase another nugget style ice maker.
I purchased this on July 6th and here it is not working on November 8th. Not even 6 months of use for 200 dollars 😡
