Frigidaire 5,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner, 115V, FFRA0511R1

Seems to be a well made unit. Installed without a problem. Don't look for a drain hole on bottom as these units don't have one. Apparently they use the water captured in the pan to cool the parts and it is splashed on these areas by the fan. If the water get to high it overflows the lower part of the frame. Just make sure the outside end is tilted down when installed. It will do this by design in most cases.

This unit is excellent and totally met my expectations. I tried another brand (Haier) and it failed to cool my 120 sq. ft. bedroom. It also had very unsatisfactory directional air-flow control. The Frigidaire 5,000 BTU FFRA0511R1 has more than enough cooling capacity. I only run the blower at high speed to initially bring the room to the desired temperature, then run it at low speed to maintain the level of comfort I require. The air-flow directional control is exceptionally easy to adjust and it has a full range to allow directing the air from left to right. I couldn't ask for a better air conditioner. It was a good value as well.

This is the perfect size air conditioner for my bedroom & it keeps us cool all night long! The instructions were easy to follow & I had it installed & running in about 30 minutes. It is quiet & cools the room pretty quickly. Ordering it through Walmart.com was fast & easy. I ordered it on a Sunday night & it was delivered to my door the following Wednesday for a shipping fee of $4! I was amazed how fast it was shipped to me & was way cheaper than other sites. I am completely happy with this unit & Walmart.com!

This unit works really well and cools the bedroom to almost too cold. We cannot turn it on high cool or turn the temp all the way cold because it freezes us out! One reviewer stated that you had to put your ear up to it to see if it is on and I have to say that is NOT true. It is not obnoxiously noisy but you can most definitely here it running. I think it was well worth the money and would purchase it again should I ever need another!

This was an August 10 birthday gift for my art room which is the size of an average bedroom. My window is wider than specified, but we just added a wood insert on each side of the unit. Per instructions - turn on full force and then adjust down for comfort once the room is cool. Fed Ex delivery worked out perfectly and it was actually delivered two days before estimate.

Advertised as a mini or compact air conditioner this one works like a big one. It was light enough for me to install it myself (I'm a middle-aged woman) but is very powerful. I'm very pleased at how quickly it cools the room. Make sure you have a three-prong outlet near the window you are installing the air conditioner in. The manual says not to use an extension cord or an adapter.

Bought for my disabled mom in FL. She was super hot and says this turns her room into an artic feel, like she loves.

This AC unit works perfect. Pretty easy to install. Room gets nice and cold fast. It's worth every penny. If you are on the fence about buying a cheaper AC unit don't be. This one won't let you down.

No one told me anything about buying this a/c. I have 2 other small units like this one and they work great. THIS NEW ONE WORKS GREAT ALSO AND with using 2 of them in the side of my house that I don't use a lot, it saves me money on not using the central a/c all the time. EXCELLENT DECISION!

Easy to install. Cools our master bedroom fast. Quite noisy, so you should be sure you like white noise. Wish I had gotten this little cooler ten years ago. It is still perfect.
