Compact and excellent at keeping temperature. It's the most practical thing I've bought for my car. It looks like a handbag and holds six cans, or fewer plus a sandwich; the car-socket power plug is as reliable and keeps the fridge working wherever you go. I also plug it next to the sofa and enjoy a cool drink while watching TV. Yes, it comes with a car-plug cable and a wall-plug cable.
If you are breast feeding and traveling this is perfect for on the go moms. The issue I have is that the product stops working or keeping items cold after some period of time. The second one I received never even turned on for cooling and had a completely different layout than the first purchase I made.
It didn't cool. I tried the car plug on my plug that stays live when the car is off, didn't work. I tried the house plug and left it for 48 hours, nothing. Not worth it even on clearance.
The mini fridge is no longer cold. I haven't had the fridge for more than 6 months. I bought this for my facial stuff. It was great for maybe a month or two at the most. I didn't open it or leave it open. The motor is still running but it's not cold any longer. Just disappointed and had to dispose it already.
I bought this for my niece in another state for her birthday. I had it shipped to her and she opened it on her birthday and was super excited! Her parents followed the instructions on how to use and left it on overnight so it was cold in the morning. The piece of junk ended up being defective and did not work. This purchase was a huge disappointment and sorry you know what birthday gift.
I wanted this so bad because I work from my car quite a bit. it cooled once and never worked again. Now I am returning mine and I started seeing reviews and this aeems to be a trend. It atopped working after 1 use.
Worked for 1 day and next day it stopped working complaining. Would not bother getting this. Should have read the reviews before buying. A lot of people are saying the same thing
I don't know how many times the Walmart Driver has not followed instructions that I have provided. I am handicapped and I cannot go outside and pick up things very easily. A small portable refrigerator that I purchased was left outside and it was heavy. I had to maneuver to get it inside because anybody that walked by could have easily picked it up and taken it. I'm so disappointed that the drivers do not follow instructions especially for handicap people who can't get out to get their package and all this Driver had to do instead of laying it on the side of the flower bed reach for the door handle to the porch, which was about 2 inches from his hand. He could have done that and then he could've just put it on the porch. I just don't understand why drivers leave them outside if there is a gated door to the porch and it's unlocked and they can get in. It's just so upsetting to me when this type of thing happens. So I'm extremely disappointed in this Walmart Driver.
I bought it to keep my drinks cold at work and it gave out after a few months. It wouldn't cool things enough and then everything in it was hot. I unplugged it and move it to see if maybe the fan was being blocked, but it would cool anymore. Now it's just sitting there because the warranty is expired and it doesn't work.
The broken unit was delivered to my mother. When she tried to return it to Walmart, they informed her that she needed to go through the manufacturer. However, the manufacturer stated that the model number did not match what Walmart had sent online, which was out of my control. I called Walmart's online customer service, and they promised a refund and to send a new unit. This was especially important because my mother, who is diabetic, needed it to carry food when she is out and lives hours away from a store. Unfortunately, none of this ever happened. When I followed up, the customer service representative refused to assist me further. I asked to speak with a supervisor but was left on hold for an hour before being disconnected. Dealing with the company has been a frustrating experience. They had my over-70-year-old mother jumping through hoops, requesting pictures and videos, which was difficult for her due to poor reception at her home. I took over the communication and continued emailing the company, believing they would replace the unit. They told my mother she had to destroy the broken unit. After months of back-and-forth emails, they ultimately would send a check for just $5 in two weeks and did not send a replacement unit. Keep in mind this is under warranty. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the consumer reporting agency. I advise against purchasing from them. This is an ethical issue at this point. I am very disappointed in Walmart and Curtis Company. Walmart does not care for their customers, and this place is a complete joke Walmart lets anyone sell on their website and take advantage of customers. I wish I would of read the other review of other people being taken advantage of from this company as well. Buyer beware.
