I've discovered these are a tasty, just like fresh, addition to tuna or chicken salad which often becomes watery after being in the fridge overnight. If you add these awesome little dehydrated gems and a little dried parsley, there is much less liquid to dilute your mayonnaise. The texture remains in tact and the onion becomes crunchy like fresh. It's far more appetizing for sandwiches or for serving on a lettuce leaf.

These are really good dried onions. I ordered some for my emergency stash so I can always have something for flavoring. They are great with beans and pretty much good enough to eat out of hand.

Real handy when you run out of fresh onions and are used to seasoning with sofrito, mierpoix, holy trinity.. et al. The onion reconstitutes well and does almost give adequate flavor. Experiment (as always) with quantity vs. result.

I like this product for soups, sauces and stews. The onions are actually sweeter than fresh onions and very convenient. I use many dried vegetables in soups, sauces and stews.

Ordered two and thought they were going to be fresh chopped onions. They turned out to be dried onions minced. Added water and tried on hot dogs but turned out not so good. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
