Product was exactly as revealed on the website
I have been working out regularly I was looking for a weight bench that would pair with a squat rack I had recently purchased. Was looking to spend around 100-150 dollars. I regularly use my equipment so I wanted something that would last and not cost too much. Equipment has been harder to buy since COVID19 so even if I found something I liked, there was no guarantee it would be available anytime soon to purchase. I stumbled on this bench while looking for something that met my above requirements. It was under $100 and in stock at Walmart. So far I haven't been disappointed. I think my biggest gripe with this bench was that the diagram to build it was pretty simple. Maybe too simple for some. I put everything together and didn't tighten it all up until every part was accounted for and in its correct place. At one point I think I did have the seat on backword but was able to easily correct. The padding on the bench is very firm. In fact it doesn't feel at all like one of the cheaper benches I used to own. All the positions work fine and the bench feels VERY sturdy when performing a 225 lbs bench press. The bench has wheels and a handle and can be moved easily into any position. This feels like many of the benches I have used in a regular gym. But I must stress it is not one of those. It is much lighter than what you would find in a gym. I suspect part of this comes from the cushioned part of the bench. I'm sure they are user lighter plywood here for the base of the cushion. Still I think this bench could be very durable for home use. I highly recommend this.
I have been using this in my home gym for a couple of weeks now and am very happy with it. There is some assembly required, but it only took me about 30 minutes to put together. the pad is comfortable and the bench adjusts quickly and easily. I haven't found any build quality issues. The only thing I would say is that it is a bit uncomfortable in the flat position due to the width between the seat and the back, but isn't too bad if you lay far enough forward. It is also really easy to move around since it has wheels on the back legs. As a whole, I am happy with this bench, especially at this price point. I'm sure there are better FID benches out there, but for the money, I don't think you'll beat this one.
I was originally going to order the other fuel pureformance bench but after careful research I found the other had a recommended weight rate of 300 lbs. That's including my weight. I found this one for 5 bucks cheaper and according to the manual, which I found online prior to ordering, its tested for 1,000 lbs and recommended for 500. I've bench 275 for reps and I weigh 215 and found it to be sturdy. No wobble. I also tested it with all my Olympic plates, 530 lbs, and it was sturdy. I'm confident it will hold more than 500 lbs, including person, and more without a problem. Now some people may have an issue with the gap between seat and back rest. I don't notice it. So it doesn't bother me. Light weight but sturdy. Comes with handle to move around and set of wheels at the back. Flat setting is level love 90 degree setting for shoulder press.
not the best but also not the worst. it gets the job done
It's a solid bench option and looks great! However I have taken away 2 stars for the following reasons: 1. The back end of the base was dented in (probably from shipping) nevertheless it was a pain to undent as I can't wait for a replacement. 2. The instructions were not very clear and although pretty sturdy by the feel of it, I would be uncomfortable using it near the max capacity. I highly doubt that it's max is correct. Still a rugged and beautiful bench for the price!
I like this bench, It is pretty solid and is like the real thing at professional gym however, the welding on some pieces is not best job. The T blue bar is bended so it makes it not as easy as it should be to change position. And it is a shame because other than that it is a great bench at a reasonable price and seat is not too high or too low like some other crazy foldable ones
Disappointed, advertised at 1000lb capacity. The bench is labeled with a max 500lb weight limit. I can't use it for what I bought it for.
