I use this machine to clean and to polish my kitchen countertops and the stainless steel sink. Comes with all of basic pads and extra brushes for the motor
Easy to use, and the ability to control the revolutions per minute prevents damage to the paint. It also has a handle for easy handling.
A friend of mine and I did some touch up painting on my 2002 Silverado. This polisher was just what I needed for the show room finish I was looking for.
I have to give my review from what my husband said because I have not used it. He said it is easy to understand how to use and the amount of power it ran on was spot on.
I'm not a pro detailer but I wanted a machine for occasional paint correction as well as regular waxing and sealing that performed well and didn't break the bank. This LDHTHOPI DA random orbital polisher represented a great bargain, and I was glad its performance punched well above its price point. The polisher assembles easily and quickly, allowing you to customize your tool with 2 different handle and 2 different sized backing plates. Included with the polisher was an array of solid as well waffled cutting, polishing, and finishing pads; a few microfiber bonnets; as well as a few sanding disks. This starter kit was a thoughtful and much appreciated inclusion. Using the polisher was a breeze, and I got great results immediately. There was minimal vibration, and the polisher was easy to control. This is a great consumer level product that I highly recommend.
This does everything the 300.00 units do.
Loud, heavy, and equipped with a short power cord. The user's manual is terrible — it includes no clear instructions or diagrams showing how to attach the backing plate. The tool has a threaded female drive spindle, and the supplied Velcro-backed backing plate (sometimes called a pad holder) has a protruding threaded male mounting post. However, when you try to screw the backing plate onto the spindle, the entire head assembly spins freely, making it impossible to tighten. The solution is to use the supplied wrench to hold the spindle in place while securing the plate, but the manual never mentions this. As of this writing, I could find no online information about the LDHTOPI-branded orbital polisher that arrived. It's also a very LOUD unit, louder than I expected. And I ordered a GEWNA brand and received a LDHTHOPI brand. They seem to be identical units, but what's going on there and why can't the seller update their WalMart listing? It's just weird and I don't like it. It's going back!
I would watch a video on YouTube about how to pack your own grease on these machines. They definitely don't come with enough. And that goes for all of them.
Allow me to express that I am a woman who has never assembled one of these before. Consequently, without any instructions, this task becomes quite challenging. The provided instructions do not clarify how to assemble this item. It arrives unassembled. The small booklet only outlines safety precautions, lacking any actual assembly instructions. Additionally, this package includes pads and sponges, which are not mentioned in the description, nor is there any information regarding the purpose of each pad. This information is absent from the description, and it does not specify which pad corresponds to which function. There are yellow, orange, and blue pads. Based on my understanding, each pad possesses a different grit and softness. This lack of clarity is quite unhelpful. Therefore, I find myself here, composing this review, as I am uncertain about which pad to utilize for each specific purpose.
This is a different brand than the item that I ordered . There was also two carbon brush replacements and one of them is broken . No instructions come with this Polisher .
