For the umpteenth time I'm having to replace my mailbox. Never because of poor workmanship or product flaw but but because some human destroyed it and left the old one laying on the ground. I must say this new one is the easiest to install of all the previous and is very attractive.

I love this mailbox post. It was super easy to put together and it comes with a spike so its super easy to put in the ground. It has already weathered a few storms too so its holding up great!

I should have read the other reviews. Hardware doesn't fit on the mailbox like it's supposed to and the wood is rough and cracked. Haven't been able to install it yet because the post for the ground in a bit too big for the cedar post so I'm going to have to make the hole a bit bigger to get it on.

everything was nice except more details on the instructions would have been nice this was my first time installing a mailbox and there was a hole in the bag that held the brackets, nuts, bolts and screws with one of 4 nuts missing so now I have to find and buy a nut so my mailbox will be secured

This post is beautiful, came in a timely manner and perfect for what we needed. However, the cedar was split all the way up the post and we are concerned that it won't last. We ended up using some clamps to hold it together as we did not have time to send back for a replacement. Definitely check your product upon arrival. If we hadn't had clamps to put around the pole, it would have come apart as soon as it was stuck in the metal rod stand.

won't let me upload pictures. VERY rough cut and knotty, required full power sanding and some straightening out. haven't assembled it yet, but will definitely be adding reinforcements. not impressed for the price.

This mailbox isn't all cedar. It has cheap white wood glued to it. It came with a lot of large splinters sticking out from every place they had cut or drilled. The hole on the bottom that the metal bar goes in was much smaller than the bar, so we had to take a drill and carefully drill and drill and drill to get the hole big enough that the bar could fit. It isn't cut where the parts will be flush with each other. There are big ugly gaps where the pieces of wood are put together. We are extremely disappointed in this post. If we didn't have it already together and it wasn't such a hassle, I'd sent it back. I think they realize this fact. Or else they'd make better quality products. We will not purchase again from this company.
