It was easy to mount on existing mailbox pole and it is extra in size . The mailbox is pretty sturdy and looks good !

The style is what we needed to replace a troublesome metal mailbox. The rich brown color pairs well with the existing plastic, the material is durable and the door opens and closes with ease.

I really love this mailbox. the color looks great, much better better than the black one i had that faded to gray over the years. it was easy to install on my current stand %26 attached to the plate perfectly. the reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because it didn't come with any hardware. it says to use your existing hardware. well, mine had been outside in the elements for almost 20 years %26 not only did the mailbox fade well, the screws %26 nuts holding it on the plate were rusted %26 gross. i had a hard time removing one. so it would've been nice to have been provided some screws %26 bolts to attach it. luckily, i have a huge collection of misc screws %26 bolts %26 after finding 4 that would work i was able to go bavk outside (it was dark now) and attach it to the plate.

So I thought I would go with this all plastic mailbox, and it is a very good one, and seems to be sturdy mailbox after the mail person broke the door on my previous rather expensive mailbox. I thought I had solved that problem but oh no the mail person again is terrible on mailbox doors evidently because one of the plastic rivets on this mailbox had been broken off and laying in the road. Decent mailbox bad mail delivery person. :(

It's still too early to tell how this mailbox will stand up over time, but It's really not that much bigger than a standard mailbox and certainly not 33% bigger. The knob to open it is dead center of the door. Your typical mailbox has a tab at the top to pull it the door open, but this one has it in the dead center of the door, which makes you have to pull at an awkward angle. So much so, that I'm considering adding a pull tab at the top. Additionally, there is only a tiny screw holding that knob in place, so you'll need to buy a large washer with a tiny hole to spread out the pressure when pulling it open and ensure you don't pull screw through the door. I really want to like it, but it doesn't work very well as is.
