I had one of these mailboxes built into a brick enclosure that was struck by a vehicle. The mailbox survived, but it was damaged enough that it can't be reused. The brick on the other hand is a goner. This is a very heavy duty mailbox that should never need to be replaced. Don't waste you time or money on the cheap big box store offerings.

Heavy duty mailbox, build well, installed quickly.
Heavy steel to withstand beating from vandal. Previous one got damaged from gravel truck mirror so not indestructible.

Disappointed
Door would not open all the way, dent on lower side of mailbox. Will return .Would like to get a replacement .
