Gilmour 4000 Sq Ft Heavy Duty Rectangular Sprinkler with Metal Base

If it holds up over time, I will be very happy. You never know. Great flexibility with this one and it covers a lot of ground if you wan it to.

Covers large or small area. Sturdy: Base is metal not plastic like so many others.

We chose this sprinkler because it is "heavy duty" and we have a big yard. We love that it is solidly built and should last a long time. It's nice that you can control the width of the water spray to cover a larger or smaller area. It oscillates back and forth nicely. It should be great too for the kids running through the sprinklers.

This Gilmour heavy duty sprinkler is a really great way to water both my lawn and my multiple garden bed areas. The 4000 square foot coverage is very large and a wonderful feature to have. I was really impressed by the sheer size and weight of the metal rectangular base because I knew it would be able to reach a larger coverage area than I am used to having. I also love that the base is made of durable metal and not plastic, so it is very stable. The aesthetics are very appealing and modern and it looks and feels solid. I appreciate the optional width control on both sides when using in my raised beds and yard because I have much better control over the coverage area I want to be utilizing. The built in on and off switch really makes it easy to adjust and fine tune the exact flow I am looking for without having to worry about getting wet in the process. That is very convenient and a definite bonus. Overall, I am very happy with the results of this sprinkler and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great way to water your lawn and garden!

After using my Gilmour lawn sprinkler, in my yard (lawn), I must say, I am impressed! It is made well, easy to use, looks great and works well. NO more getting soaked when I want to move my new Fiskars Gilmour lawn sprinkler! Gilmour Fiskars 4000 Sq Ft Heavy Duty Rectangular Sprinkler has a very sturdy & well made Metal Base that's easy to use, simple to adjust and easy for me to customize to fit my own yard aka lawn size. With easy to understand markings on the sprinkler itself, I am able to control and adjust the settings easily! Equipped with an easy to control ON/OFF flow control switch that took any guesswork out of controlling it.. Thankfully, it that only required one simple turn to move from ON to OFF and every point in between. Unlike other lawn sprinklers that I've used in my garden and on my lawn, I no longer get sprayed, with water, while operating and/or moving this sprinkler. The water starts & stops  exactly when & where I want! Thankfully, this sprinklers On/Off design keeps me from having to run back and forth between spigot and sprinkler to operate!                                   The independent Width adjustable is also a great feature of this product.

I ordered the Gilmour 4000 Sq Ft Heavy Duty Rectangular Sprinkler with Metal Base. We have a vary large yard and our old sprinkler became rusty and broke. I like this one because it is a lot larger than our old one. This one is going to take half the time it took our old sprinkler to water our lawn, as it is going to cover more of the ground. So far I've only used it for out grandkids to run through it. They love it for cooling them off on a hot day. It is very sturdy and seems to be very well made. It is not hard to use and it has different settings on it so you can use it to water different areas of your yard. It screws right onto your hose with no leaking.

Good sprinkler for larger areas. Nice weight and stays in place. Water reach ok. I have moved this sprinkler around the yard and it is doing the job.

This sprinkler lasted two months of regular use. It clogged easily and it just started getting stuck on one end of a sweep. The sweep from one side to the other is too narrow. You can't have one side open the whole way and the other side ends up being like a quarter to the side so it doesn't sweep fully from one side to the other. It's worthless now and the cheaper Gilmore is better

This was obviously re-packed! Does not work correctly. Does not allow for spreading the oscillating to the left side... it's like it was put together upside down. So basically it's good for right side only unless i go out and turn it around. So then what was the point of buying one like this????? Very disappointed. My son has one and it works perfectly that's why I bought this. Of course the one I get is non-functional.. Geez.

The quality vs its value, not worth paying it
