Gilmour Flexogen Hose (100 feet)

This "Gilmour" Heavy duty 3/4 inch diameter 50 foot garden hose is more like the quality we used to get 25 plus years ago and lasted that long too. The retail stores and online are full of kinking cheap made hoses made even with plastic coupling that are not even useable they kink so bad, cutting off the water flow. This hose has brass couplings (very important) and did not kink upon first use as the others did that I returned. It is NOT rubber. I found the rubber hoses kinked horribly and were heavy. This material is strong with 8 layers but lighter weight. Much easier to pull around the yard. I have found that the 3/4 inch diameter has always gotten better water flow and this material doesn't kink. Can't speak on long term use but this is the first one I didn't have to send back. I think the other manufacturers of garden hoses today need a lesson in making a quality product at an affordable price. Gilmour seems to have made it right with this garden hose. I think this is the same brand and material I used to buy. Time will tell. I was shocked at all the poor quality hoses I've experienced today at high unrealistic prices. Thank you to the Gilmour garden hose product manufacturer.

Just received this hose a week or so ago. The his that came is gray not green, but has the same label attached. Not concerned about the color difference. I used it a couple of times so far with no kinking. I need to replace several more hoses so if this one works out, I'll order more.

I returned this product because I realized I didn't need the hoses right now

Easy to install, no kinks and works great!

The Gilmour Flexogen Hose 10-34025 is described as Premium and I had to agree. The 3/4" diameter garden hose with brass fittings and robust design fully met my expectation. In Florida you need a garden hose that can withstand the hot southern sun and I believe this one will. Yet to achieve long duration use, but so far it works very nicely.

We have Gilmour Flexogen hoses that are over 20 years old and still going strong, so when it came time to buy more hoses, this was the only choice. An exceptional value - they don't kink even in winter and last forever.

They are not kidding about "Premium Duty." This is one substantial hose! I needed a fairly short hose to connect to a 100' expandable hose, and the shorter one has to traverse an area accessible to 5 dogs. I have no concerns about this hose being able to take some abuse.

Just what I needed for my pressure washer. Good hose, it doesn't kink. Strong.

Excellent heavy duty hose

I wish I could write a review, but have not received this item yet thank you
