It is a great color it not pale it drys fast over all I would buy it again
Love this door and trim paint. Hides any imperfections, dries quickly and looks beautiful!
Thank you so much for the delivery 2 days it only took to get my paint I thought it was going to take at least a week looks pretty cool I have to get my doors painted I will post a picture later I was hoping this was a gallon and not just a pint but I didn't read the description right I guess I'm a happy customer thank you Walmart
Perfect color for my French Doors! I was dreading trying to pick out the "Red Red" out of a million "Red-ish Reds" at the paint store. This was a simple, premade, primary color with no other tints making it other shades in the red family. Looks beautiful! even though I'm not quite finished yet.
I realize that phones make colors appear more vivid than they are, but this is more brick red than candy apple. After three coats with a roller on a door, I'm still going to need one more coat to achieve a good finish. I'm only painting one side of one exterior door. If I were painting kitchen cabinets for example, this would turn from simple project to major project quickly.
This seemed to self level for a nice finish. Very pretty. As far as durability, not sure about that for a latex paint (the 4 rating) but it certainly went on easily and looks great! Used it to paint moldings and will be using it to paint a door soon. I like it.
I'm not saying that this is bad pain I'm just saying that if you going to buy it if you're going to use it put one coat on first let it dry and then go back and put another coat because if paint is thin I have brand new paint brushes and everything I don't know if it was the surface of my chairs or if it was me or the paint to be honest but I had to fight paint my chairs black I know that this is a trim paint but even if I was painting just the trim of something I know for a fact I have to do two coats at least after that I was really happy be ready to work when you use this paint
It was Leaking all over when got it,container was damaged!! Threw it away!
the can come opened inside the box so the paint is not completely in base .... im try returning back but is impossible im lost my money
The issues I had with this black high gloss Glidden paint for door and trim, is several. I painted a white door. At first, the paint goes on extremely thin. Very poor coverage. I was counting on getting away with one coat. With the second coat, the paint became thick. The drying process is very fast, too fast. By the time I finished painting the door, the areas I painted first were already completely dry. The door was and is blotchy with high and low gloss areas. The next day, I painted a THIRD coat and it does not look much better. I have two front doors and was going to paint them both with this paint as I bought two quarts. One quart that I have not opened, is going back for refund. I am going to need to purchase an entire new door!!! There is no way I could spend my life sanding and removing all this ugly black paint. Seriously, it is a very big mess to bother with. If others had good experiences with it, I can't fathom why I did not. Bad batch, maybe. I don't know but I do know I am going to be out a lot of money for a new door!
