Easy to grip and keeps the can opener clean easier. there is no need to squeeze two handle tightly together and the ele rronic ones while you can wipe them down easy enough it doesnt seem as sanitary. This one is great for anyone with an arthritic grip orjust wants to beable to clean and sterilze them easily.

This took a little work to get right the first time, but it's a cinch to use. It's lightweight to hold and does not require much strength. It's perfect for any age. It might take a few tries to get the hang of it, but it is so nice to not have to worry about jagged, sharp edges. This little lightweight tool has become my favorite can opener!

I never had this type of opener before, so I went with my go to brand for things I'm not sure will work out. My first attempt at use was a can of tomato paste. It took a second to line up right and I started turning. I was waiting to hear the punch sound and nothing happened so I turned it a little more and I was all set to give up. I lifted the opener off, and the lid came with it! I was absolutely stunned. I recommend starting at a point where you'll recognize you've done the whole circumference. A reference point on the can label. Lift the lid off, hold it over the trash and turn the knob toward you. The lid will drop off. Much easier opening! No squeezing! I might've had a less than successful foray into these new openers, but I had chosen a brand I trusted. I just continued to turn the handle and voila!

a new safe cut can opener. with instructions wipe gears with damp cloth, do not immerse in water. had 2 different can openers that got jammed from clogged cutting wheels. had to use oil and picks to remove the debris then remove any non food safe oil after the cutting wheel is able to turn. if your old one isn't working, it might just have a clogged cutting wheel that might work after cleaning and oiling

I am so used to the two handled style, I was weary off how this device would actually work, or if it would at all. So I gave it a chance and WOW! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this opener! Takes up much less space than my others, cuts cleanly and safely, no sharp can edges, and doesnt even need to be rinsed off after from the food touching the blade. Super cool design retracts the blade to clench the can like my buttcheeks when teaching my teen to drive. Holds on tight until the cut is finished and you unturn the knob just a slight bit.

I love how you can open the can and then use the lid to cover it up if you want to save part of the contents for later. The effort to twist the mechanism seems no harder than a standard manual can opener. Electric versions of openers that leave no sharp edges were just too expensive. This manual opener seems very sturdily built. I just hope that the wingnut twister holds up over time. This opener seems to be a great product at a good price.

I have only used once so far, but it worked like a breeze! Was so happy to find something that will work on small tuna cans easily. They state to only wipe it clean, but I forgot and rinsed it off -- hope that won't hurt it! The lid came off with no sharp edges, as stated; and stayed attached to the opener until I released it by turning the handle backward. A great invention!

This opener has been a game-changer! It's so much easier to open cans without leaving sharp edges. The only downside is that sometimes it's hard to tell when the lid is completely removed. Also, I wish it was dishwasher safe, but it isn't.

The first time it worked like a can opener should. Easy to use, no problems. Pulled it out a second time and won't work at all. Spins and spins but doesn't cut. For a one time use product it's way overpriced.

this item is very difficult to use. if you're an elderly person, or someone trying to open the can who has limited strength this can opener will not work. it is difficult to see if the can opener is actually on the can properly. and the lever to turn to open the cans barely moves. I definitely would not recommend this to anyone who isn't strong and in perfect condition.
