Works great, added the roku tv app after i set it up for some interesting streaming options. And it goes to sleep when not in use, unlike the chromecast which is basically always on. if you cant locate the remote, just press a button on the unit and the remote beeps to help localize it

Good day, greetings. Although the item is like new and works perfectly, I'm wondering if they sold me a brand new device or a refurbished or "open box" one. The package wasn't sealed; it didn't have the internal adhesive that closes the product. In any case, I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt to the reputation of a large company like Walmart.

I am not a techie but I know I have had 2 Onn 4K streaming boxes in the last 2 years and they are now in the garbage. I had to break down and get the more expensive Google Streamer hoping that you get what you pay for. I also got the 2 yr Protection plan from Walmart. So far so good. It took off without a problem where the Onn refused to work anymore. We'll see.

I love this Google Tv streaming device! I really like the new fire stick but it wouldn't get good connection and kept buffering. Had to go back to the old Roku but now with the Google Tv I got great connections and my one remote now controls everything and it connects to all my other Google products. I'm a Google products fan!

i had the previous version of this item so upgraded to this one. price was decent compared to other items. remote is a lot better with more functions, but could use a couple more functions on it. easy to set up. misjudged the length of USB cable to buy and too lazy to take return the wrong one so have the device partially hanging off table.

Good: fast and smooth response. Videos and Audios are so much better than watching them using the built in apps that came with the TV. I am using this on a TCL Google TV so the same familiar UI is a plus. No problem with HBO, Hulu, Disney, Kanopy, Youtube, Pandora. Haven't tried any other services. Bad: complicated setup requiring Google account.

This Google streamer is a solid product and works exactly as expected. We have one in our main living room and really like it. That said, we bought a cheaper ONN streamer for the bedroom and it honestly works just as well and even came with an HDMI cable. We’re still glad we bought the Google streamer, but for the price, it would’ve been nice if it included an HDMI cable.

Bought the product to turn my "dumb" tv into a "semi-smart" tv capable of streaming as I wanted to get out of the convenient yet expensive world of cable/wifi(close to $300 monthly bills) to save some money on my monthly tv/wifi expense. This product does the job as it was very easy to install and turned my 20 year old flat panel Toshiba into a streaming capable tv. This will allow me to use my cable provider for "wifi only" at a very affordable monthly rate while allowing me to select a streaming service that will fit my viewing needs and keep expenses down.

I placed the order. Online it said a new product. They gave me a returned and used product. The device still had the previous customers login information on it. It WAS NOT NEW IT WAS A RETURNED AND USED DEVICE!!!

Unfortunate this is the second google cast that has prematurely pooped out on us. This one lasted all of a week before shutting off and on without cause. I love the user interface and look of this product but am continually disappointed:(
