I love this tool! It's heavy, has a smooth coating, cleans up so easily and is so easy to use. It's all the ad said it would be. I didn't have to use my fingers at all to clean out the garlic from the cracks or crevices. Everyone who minces garlic needs this!

I'd been searching for a replacement garlic press because my original one was both too small and difficult to clean (even causing injury once). After much online searching I found this! Not only does it feel hefty and quality in the hands, but it comes in 2 pieces for easy cleaning. You don't even have to peel the clove beforehand because one press and you just take the peel off then do a full press. As someone else mentioned, you can use the top portion upside down to clean out the bottom portion. If pieces do get stuck, all you need is a good brush and it'll come right now. Highly recommended!

Finally I found a solid steel garlic press. It is very easy to use. Do not have to peel the garlic. The skin is left behind. The press has two handles which fits together with ease. The top handle has an edge which is used to scrap off the pressed garlic as well as remove the garlic skin left behind. Finally it is super easy to clean. Becauase it is solid steel you never have to worry about rust. I highly recomend this product.

I had one of these before, I thought, and after using this one, I'm sure I had one before. This does not work that well. It doesn't look like most of the garlic is getting pressed through. I would think that the cover of the garlic would be left behind but not the whole garlic except for a bit of garlic that gets crushed. It's hard to get what's left behind out of the slot, there isnt much garlic being crushed compared to what should. It's just a waste of time and get no product coming through the holes. I threw this one out because it's wasting my product.

I'm an older woman and hand strength is not as good as it once was. This item requires quite a bit of hand strength (maybe from the angle). I feel like there was more waste in this press than from my older antique garlic press.

The build does not seem quality. There is a rattle inside one of the handles and the material does not match each other.
