Goya Sardines in Tomato Sauce, 15 oz

Sardines are a super food! It's a great snack with crackers for the my whole family. We like adding hot sauce to them. My kids love it! The price of sardines have increased and goya seems to have the best deal.

Great product but it is getting too expensive now. Drop the price a little.

Your intentions of more for my money was appreciated but backfired. My original choice had an easy open top. They did not have an “easy open”can. They required a can opener which I did purchase on this order just specifically for this order in case. So I spent money I should not have had to. Most importantly about the can opener, I am older it is hard to use with my physical challenges. I had to buy a slightly more expensive one. Even with that it will be hard. The value was great. The cans were larger. The product was the same, I have not tried them yet to see the quality compared to what I used to buy. However, I needed the smaller single size one person cans so there would be no leftovers to spoil, smell or throw away.

I love this sardines they are really delicious I would totally but next time more. I bought 3 but next day I came back for more.

I usually get the California Girl brand, but it wasn't available for shipping. I've also had Sol-Mex. Comparatively, this Goya brand is gross. The tomato sauce barely tastes like tomato. The fish is super soft and turns to mush when you touch it. Tastes bad too. Makes me wonder if it was improperly stored or if that's just how it is? Date is still good, ordered April 2023, expires 2025.

I hate that there is No "Drained" Weight amount disclosed on the can so I removed from the sauce the fish and put on my food scale which shows 6- ounces total. FYI: That is basically $6. per lb for sardines. Too high amount in my opinion.

The sardines themselves were delicious but the tomato sauce was gelatinous and the tomato flavor was very weak. I could hardly taste it. I will try a different brand next time I get a craving for sardines in tomato sauce.

I do not like to write a review but I bought too many times Goya sardines tomato sauce because it less sodium but I am so disappointed . Sardines either so soft like rotten fish or meat of sardines are so dark brown . They are expensive why I can not get good quality ????

I read a review and I am impressed how ever when I bought Goya sardines I am so disappointed . I like they are less salt but sardines meat are so soft or sardines meat are so dark brown . Are Goya use rotten sardines ??
