Great Value Chocolate Instant Pudding and Pie Filling, 3.9 oz

Instant dessert, instant happiness. Mix, chill, and suddenly you have chocolate pudding like you planned this all along. Smooth, creamy, and actually really good for how easy it is. Great on its own, or you can get fancy and layer it with whipped cream, cookies, whatever you have lying around. Also very easy to “taste test” multiple times while it sets. Simple, cheap, and always hits the sweet spot.

I thought it was just as good as the more expensive brand. Maybe not as creamy when made as just a pudding, but the taste was just as good. I used it in a cake mix recipe and was completely satisfied with the results.

I have never actually tasted this pudding, but I use it when I make cake. And since my cake tastes good, I'm assuming the pudding tastes good by itself. I have never done a side-by-side comparison with Walmart brand versus like Jell-O brand.

GV Instant Chocolate Pudding is excellent and doesn't have a powdery after-taste. We use it primarily in a decadent chocolate dump cake with Betty Crocker Super Moist Devil's Food cake mix and 1/2'n'1/2.

Store brand less expensive but had the same flavor as the more expensive, which should be white Jell-O brand definitely would get it again just for the savings on the money couldn't tell the difference and taste

Tastes just as good as the big name brands and it's easy to make. This has a great chocolate flavor and I'm using it for frozen pudding pops. This will be perfect!

so it was more cocoa flavored like hot chocolate, rather than a silky indulgent flavor. I was not impressed. It was dark in color, almost black- very not real chocolate tasting. the time really added thickness way beyond the instant timeline, and the texture never felt creamy more like coagulated oil. not a fan. not planning to use again, sorry GV this one is a miss.

It was just ok. It tasted more like dark chocolate and it didn't mix well still had clumps from hand mixing. I don't like breaking out the mixer for simple pudding. I will stick with name brand for chocolate at least. The vanilla was delicious thought.

I have purchased this many times, and each time I think it will be the time I can get the powder to mix well. But each time I am wrong and my pudding has an odd texture on it, it tastes good, but looks ugly.

I bought this to mix into vanilla flavored Greek yogurt (after another reviewer recommended doing this). It made the yogurt taste terrible. I will not buy this pudding mix again.
