Honestly the best canned salmon I've had. Better than other brands. If someone doesn't care for salmon, have them try this one. Mild in flavor and color. Use in cold pasta salads, mac and cheese and salmon burgers! Versatile, healthy and delicious. Great on any salad too. Can get a recipe for salmon pate for your next British tea party as well. Make the tiny sandwiches for your next party!
If you like canned fish, this is a great option for changing it up when tuna might get a little boring! Not quite as dry as canned tuna can be these days - and I also tend to eat it straight from the can when Im in the mood for some quick protein! Even share a little (very little!) w the cats when they start bugging me the second I open the can 😄
This canned salmon is incredible. It always tastes very clean and fresh, the texture is firm but easy to shred. I have never found a bone or weird object, while in other brands of salmon and tuna I find them often. This tastes just like white albacore tuna with a less fishy aftertaste. I recommend this to everyone! If you mix up a bowl of this with some hot sauce, 2 tbsp. of light mayo, garlic powder, and some salt and pepper I promise you will have a delicious salad or sandwich base.
I cracked open this can of Great Value Chunk Style Pink Salmon expecting “fine.” What I got was shockingly respectable seafood energy. 🌊 Real Salmon, No Nonsense Skinless. Boneless. Chunky in the way that matters. This isn't mushy mystery fish — it's actual flakes of salmon that hold together and taste clean. 🥗 Meal Hero Status Salmon salad? Nailed it. Rice bowl? Elevated. Straight from the can with a fork because life is busy? Still works. It's versatile, dependable, and doesn't fight you. 🧂 Mild, Balanced Flavor Not overly fishy, not bland. Just a solid, mild salmon profile that plays well with seasoning, lemon, mayo, hot sauce, or whatever mood you're in. 💰 Budget Champion Here's the kicker: it does all this without pretending to be fancy. Affordable, reliable, and always ready. 🏆 Final Verdict This can quietly shows up and does the job extremely well. No drama. No waste. Just dependable protein. Short title. Big value. Pantry power move. 💪🐟
Tuna is good, pink salmon is great! A wonderful treat, for both, humans and cats! Canned fish is a great food option for when going on trips, you don't have to worry about keeping it in a cooler. I like this kind of can a lot, it has its own opening device, nice!
I did a comparative study on this canned salmon, with two other brands. Walmarts "great value" brand is just as good as the others. I love the pop top on the can. I take them to work, with single mayos and make a quick lunch. thank you, Walmart.
I've been using the Great Value 5 oz tuna on my salads for years. I decided I would try the 5 oz salmon. I like it much better. It is good for you and very tasty.
I use it to make salmon patties (croquets). It has no taste at all to me right out of the can but that changes with some seasoning. I also buy it for my cats as a treat and they love it.
It's low fat. Great treat for the dogs. Honestly don't know what it taste like... but they like it. I make a brother from the juice etc. too. Works extremly well and great value for what I use it for.
I like salmon.I make salmon patties, but I use the larger can. This was barely pink and the flavor it wasn't very strong. For my cats, it's great. I use this canned tuna and canned mackerel and canned sardines. Owen water, of course, as a supplement to wet cat food. In that regard, it's awesome. It's better than whatever chemicals they add to wet cat food and it's cheaper. And it's natural.
