Great Value Decaf Classic Medium Roast Ground Coffee, 9.6 oz

I really like this product. For many years I couldn't drink coffee like everyone else because I was sensitive to coffee/caffeine. Then I came across decaff coffee, but often had a problem with something in them as well. Not sure if it might be the tannins, with the caffeine. Interestingly enough, I could drink espresso, as long as it had a lot of milk and balanced with mocha chocolate. I came across this decaff, and no problems! It's full-bodied and has a nice, rich taste. One tablespoon is very lightweight, but 2 tablespoons taste just like non-decaffeinated coffee! Although, it can't truly be fully decaffeinated because it tastes too good. ;) Watching your blood pressure? Stick with 1 tablespoon, or a great middle - 1 tablespoon and half! Great value at a great price.

I bought this when there was no Folgers medium roast decaf ground coffee available for immediate delivery. I thought it tasted good and had a rich and smooth flavor. The purchase price was very reasonable. It did not come with a scoop, but fortunately I always save my coffee scoop.

I really like this Walmart Brand Decaf Coffee. 1 yr ago I switched to decaf and was afraid I counldnt do it. Its a lovely roasted flavor. Coffee has gotten so expensive that this is lower priced alternative but tastes expensive. i dont miss regular coffee one bit. Try it youself, take a break from all the caffein.

I love your coffee the great value coffee is great. I like the decaf and I like the medium roast. I buy the two and I mix them together to get a half-and-half and your coffee is so good because it's still in metal cans and most of their coffee comes in plastic or bags, and I don't like that.! Keep on putting it in those cans that's why the flavor is so good when it's brewed!

I am an avid coffee drinker and have been using a half and half mixture of decaf and regular coffee for quite a while. The Great Value brand is what I purchase so I can get a good taste without the jitters of too much caffeine. Mixing them myself allows me to enjoy my coffee at any time of day!

With the rising high prices of coffee, especially decaf, this is a good tasting coffee and though still high it does cost less than other brands. I find that decaf is bitter, so I drink half caf in the brand name. My brother drinks only this Great Value Decaf. He says it's smoother than most. Tip ... We buy the 3 smaller cans that gives a few more ounces for a few cents less than the large can.

The smaller can of Great Value Decaf Classic Medium Roast Ground Coffee is less expensive per ounce than the large can. These are the exact same product. So I will be saving myself some money and be purchasing this coffee in the smaller cans from now one.

I was shocked that the can was only 2/3 full. I've been buying coffee, including this Great Value Decaf, for 40 years and have never had a can settled more than an inch or 2. If it wasn't for the hassle I would've taken it back, with the price of coffee now. I still recommend it, but if my next can is missing 1/3 of the product, I'll quit buying this brand.

Budget decaf! In my opinion, this doesn't compare. It's a matter of putting up with poor flavor for affordability. I am usually always team Great Vale, but not on this unfortunately. Full disclosure tho - I use grounds in a reusable k cup in my Keurig. MIt could be that old school brew would make it better...?

Picked this up from Walmart thinking I was making a responsible life choice by cutting back on caffeine. Turns out, I was just cutting back on flavor too. I usually drink Colombian dark roast, so maybe I set the bar way too high—but wow. I used the same amount of grounds as always, and somehow ended up with what can only be described as lightly coffee-flavored water. Calling it “coffee” feels generous. If your kids are always begging to try your coffee, this is perfect—finally something you can hand over without hesitation. It's basically brown water. Honestly, I would've been better off making a hot chocolate. At least that has a personality. Next experiment: half regular, half decaf. Hoping that lands somewhere between “actual coffee” and whatever this was. Stay tuned.
