I love these pastries. I prefer these to Kellogg cherry poptarts. But it's getting harder to find them in the store. So I order them online. Really like them. Really fresh.
These are delicious! Not only do they taste better than Poptarts, they are LARGER and vost 3X LESS as well! Its a Win-win-win for me! and this is NOT a promotional review so i dont have to lie!
The Cherry flavor is most often sold out at my local Instacart Walmart store, so I have a better chance on Walmart.com. Would buy more flavors if the made them (Hint, look at Pop Tarts for examples). 400 calories per packet, 79 grams carbs == NOT COOL!
Woooooo These are SO good. Gees, I take one, I break it into lil squares and shuv it in a little bowl with my coffee and WHAT!? All my bites are GONE! This happens way too often as I eat these (happens with mini reeses too). But really, they are that tasty. And ya know, it isn't easy finding cherry flavor usually but Walmart always has this and for so cheap too. Not a small little 8 pack! It's just a win-win! Great cherry flavor, great amount of frosting too, and the pastry part is delicious by itself too boot. Plus it's inexpensive as can be.
These things have virtually no nutritional value, always give you third to fourth degree burns when taking them out of the toaster but man am I ever strung out on 'em. Eat one with my first mug of coffee then try not to eat another with my second.........I often lose. Tremendous price even when compared to the nasty ones that Dollar General sells. Breakfast of fallen champions is the Great Value Frosted Toaster Pastries......oh, the chocolate ones are awesome too!!
This is one of those generic foods that is EXACTLY like the name brand. They're probably made in the same factory and packaged differently for different companies. If you're buying PopTart brand toaster pastries when this is there then you should rethink your life choices.
Better than poptarts. More jam inside. Overall bigger. Maybe a little pasty raw? I don't know Im old school and toasterize them. Taste excellent. Poptarts are always broken and all corners and edges anymore with painted on jam inside. Icing is half off the tart. These are my replacement.
Sadly, these are no longer what they used to be. Shrinkflation has hit our beloved dupe Cherry Pop Tarts. Now, they're smaller...the generous frosting is now sparse to non-existent on one end of the pastry. The filling is maybe 1-2mm thick and doesn't begin until you bite through 1/3 of the tart. Even the box is cheaper. They thinned out the cardboard so bad, the box almost collapses if you squeeze it too hard. I won't purchase again. Hard pass now.
Toaster pastries are great, I always purchase this brand. I gave the lowest rating because of the packaging for shipment. Usually arrives in a box with other items and therefore are protected. I received these in a "bag". Needless to say, they arrived crushed, box ends open and most all of the pastries are in pieces.... Never had them arrive like this before. Will be feeding them to the raccoons now. Can't put them in a toaster or even a paper plate to microwave....
I don't like a lot of filling, but I do like a bit more than what was offered in this pop tart. Whatever happened to quality control? I prefer pop tarts without frosting, but if you must put frosting on it, please give the frosting flavor. Better tasting frosting might cover up the scant filling. I was very disappointed. (But the delivery of this to our house was SPEEDY!)
