Great Value PAR38 LED 12.5W (90W Equivalent) E26 Medium Base Motion Sensor Light Bulb

I had another that lasted 8 years so hopefully this will too. It does have to "learn" because it was going on in the daylight%26 few other issues but now it seems to be working fine. Super bright and it works quite well at a distance; it says 15' but mine works even farther.

I use this at my front door and it comes on when you get a few feet away and comes on and stays on for about 10 or 15 min! I don't have to keep the porch light on. It works great.

my previous bulbs were old. these were a good value to replace them. very pleased with the brightness

The bulb itself is okay, but I bought it to use in an outside 2 socket motion detector that had Halogen bulbs in it. I checked the Internet to see if it would work and found sources that said it would but when I screwed it in it would flash on for just a second and then go out. I tried it a few times, but it just didn't work. It may not be the bulb I don't know for sure. I didn't think Halogen bulbs could be bought anymore but Walmart still sells them, so I bought a Halogen bulb.

I needed a bulb for the front porch approximately three feet above the top of your head. I bought two bulbs a year apart. Though the light was bright it would not work unless you walk up to the bulb and nearly touch it. I replaced it with a GE branded bulb without any issues.

Does not work. It needs movement a couple of inches away but you are probably putting it feet off of the ground. So it would never turn on. If I were you, I'd keep the box because I threw the box away when we put up the lightbulb and now cannot return it. Just keep the box for when you'll need to take it back so you don't end up with an extra lightbulb that you can't use.
