You never know what you will get with tomatoes but this brand has always worked well for us in soups and chilies because you don't have to try to figure out how to sweeten it a little if it's too tart. However if you did have to just squirt some ketchup in your soup. Ketchup is loaded with sugar and it will take the edge off the tartness and it already is balanced to use with a tomato product so it doesn't taste like you are trying to put sugar on top of a tomato

I have never burnt out on tomato juice my entire life. It feels like a meal and it serves any and everyone, regardless of their reservations. This drink can easily replace the V8 bottle as the primary ingredient there is 90% tomato juice. I mix and match the two items: 2 bottles of Walmart Tomato Juice and 1 bottle of V8! Everything about this product is excellent! I had to substitute for "Campbell's " brand because they were out of stock, boy was I disappointed the big brand tomato juice was nothing to compare to GV brand. Now I always order the 2 pack so I'll never be without my favorite juice (GV)

I didn't expect much, honestly. but Is aw this on sale and thought it was worth the risk. And I'm glad I did. We both enjoyed it and finished 2 bottles in two and a half days, and there was only two of us. LOL The flavor isn't too strong, like some name brands, but it is not horribly diluted like I had worried it might be. it was still full, bold flavor, and a slightly thick texture. but delicious, and not thick enough to bother me. We loved it!

i am perfectly happy with the great value brand of tomato juice. tomato juice is a good source of vitamin C, which helps to stave off some diseases like colds and the flu, which is the main reason i drink it. (orange juice also is a good source of vitamin C) i add a little salt and pepper to it. i think it could be used as an air freshener, too. i noticed that it has a very good smell. :)

We buy several bottles at a time to have on hand for a couple of different soups that we make. It's the best price we've found for a quality tomato juice. A few years ago, it was difficult to find, and we had to resort to making tomato juice from tomato paste or sauce. It was ok, but this is much better, and way more convenient. I think it's every bit as good as the national brands.

The GV Tomato Juice is flavorful and does well as compared to higher priced name brands. I've drank this by itself and I use it in my soups, mostly chili. The sauce has a good tomato flavor and is just thick enough (more than just a liquid, it has a little substance). It holds up well in recipes as the flavor doesn't get lost when ingredients are added.

This tomato juice tastes fresh and clean with no artificial aftertaste. It's smooth, not overly salty, and works great on its own or for cooking and soups. Just as good as higher-priced brands and a solid everyday staple. Excellent value for the size and quality.
